Who has tried the Ginger Carrot Soup at Boma's?

I am hosting a potluck soup dinner next weekend for about 75 guests. I'm thinking of making the ginger carrot soup (recipe looks simple, but different), but I've never had it at Boma's both times I've been there. If you've eaten it before, could you please tell me if it will go over well for a potluck? Do most people tend to like this soup? My second choice would be the chicken & corn porridge (I've had this & it's yummy!). But I thought the ginger carrot one was more appropriate for this fall season.

I have had it and liked it. But if I were making a dish for a pot luck and had the choice of the ginger carrot soup or the chicken & corn porridge. I would choose the latter, as I think it would appeal to more palates.

I really like it, but my husband does not. It's very light and gingery. I'm not sure how it would go over in a pot luck.

I have had it and loved it but I might not take any at a potluck - I am the clumsiest person and I would be sure to spill it on either me, the furniture, or loved ones...
I would save it for a more intimate sit down dinner.
