Who Has Thursday Off?

My dh gets Thursday and Friday off as a DONSA. I have to work both days but have a list of honey do chores for him since he is in out and so much.

We work because we trade Veteran's Day for the day after Thanksgiving. We do have Columbus Day off, though.

Speaking of holidays, my brother is being shipped to Iraq on Thanksgiving Day. He says it won't happen, though because while the Army works on holidays, the Air Force doesn't.

We aren't off but my boss is extremely generous with days off. We get Thanksgiving and the day after, December 22-28, Good Friday, a week in late May when he goes on vacation, 4th of July + 1 or 2 more depending on when it falls, Labor Day, a week in late October when he goes on vacation again plus one friday a month and our birthdays. And his birthday too. Did I mention they are all paid? I work for a private practice dentist so when he wants off we all get to be off. He wants a 3 hour lunch? We get one too!! He's sick? One person goes in long enough to call all the patients and reschedule them. Our sick days and personal time are outrageously generous too. He's had 10 employees in 25 years of practice and I'm the only one hired in the past 5 years. I can see why! Who would want to leave this??
