We are leaving tomorrow :cool1: and hope to be at MK by 2pm and getting mouse ears is at the top of our list!

Where is the best place to get mouse ears for a 2 year old either at MK or MGM?

Thanks!

At MK, on the right hand side of mainstreet there is a shop next to the candy store. They sell them and will put you childs name on the hat for no additional charge.

Have fun!

Thanks!
Isn't there another place (I thought at MGM) that charges to embroider, but lets you pick the font and color etc.?

There is. It is also on the right hand side, with all of the shops. I am unsure of the name of the 'main drag's' name. Not sure of the prices either, I did overhear a family say it was pricey... but really it all is!

I love the shop on Main Street in MK they are just so original looking with the way they embroidery the hats. My girls also got the pins that look like the CM pins. Their is also a place at DTD in the Christmas Shoppe. It is all the way in the back I believe they sold the hats also. That is where we gor the pins. My daughters name are spelled different so this cam in handy for us!!! Have a great trip!!!

The name of the store is The Chapeau. It is the first store on the right hand side when your back is towards the train station. We were there last week thats the only reason I know that :teeth: Anyways, they have a wide selection of mouse ears and they can personalize them right there also. They did an excellent job on mine and my DF's. Enjoy!! :goodvibes

Yes, we got ours for like $8 and change each at La Chapeau too! They embroidered the kids' names sooooo fast. I thought we'd have to pick them up later, but voilah, 20 seconds later we had our hats! :earsgirl: :earsboy:

I thought I remember reading a few weeks back that The Chapeau was also going to start charging for monograming sometime this month. I think it was going to be a $2 charge.

we bought ours at a nice empty (& big) store by Goofy's Barnstormer.

Sorry but I have no clue at what the name is though.

There is also a place in DTD where we got ours. the do charge for the name on the back..but the Cm told us to go to the chapau (SP?) in MK and they would do it for free. And they Did :cool1: not the nice fancy font though. :cheer2:

According to the allearsnet newsletter . . .

I'm sad to report that as of 10/16/05 the Magic Kingdom charges $2.00 for personalizing Mouse Ears, and they have a sign that states "First Names Only."

The gold ears at the Chapeau is $11.50

you can buy the ears in many places including resort gift shops but the only places to get them embroidered is the Chapeau or the 5 and 10 store in MGM.

My interesting fact of the day: When I was at Le Chapeau, I started talking to the lady about how quickly she does the embroidery... it is amazingly fast and she has a very good hand for that kind of thing. Anyway, she told me she had been doing it for 18 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :earsgirl:
