Tell me about it. We are booked for one June 22-27. Can 9 ( 6 adults, 2 children, 1 toddler) stay comfortably? How are the views?

The view will be wonderful. But that many, especially 6 adults, will IMHO be very, very cramped.

As indicated, you will have a view of the savanna and the animals, so that will be great. :thumbsup2

I agree that you will be pretty crowded in the villa, but keep in mind that we book a 2BR for the 4 of us (2 adults and two teenagers). So my idea of cramped and others could easily vary.

please kept in mind that not all SV are equal.

if you look out your room and see shade and more important - water - then great you have a superior room.

if you look out and see dirty and grass - you may still get some animals close up - just not as much as other places.

these are animals and will go where they feel happy. not many people would prefer to stand in the sun all day - neither do the animals.

now if the day is cold - guess what they will be in sun!

We just got back from a stay in a 2br Savannah View. I believe you can stay comfortably as long as nobody minds sharing bathrooms. We had only six people and the only thing that was a problem was having 2 bathrooms but we had 3 teenage girls with us!:) My 9 year old son slept on the chair bed and said it was comfortable. My DD's 16&12 both slept on the 2 sofa beds and they said they were only "ok".We actually loved the theming! The rooms are beautiful and we found it very spacious. Our view however was not the best. We had room 5543/5545, a 2 br lock-off. Our room was in the corner of the zebra trail wings, right over a large pen(we were told it was an evacuation area). We had a view of a small Savannah. We did get to see some animals and loved watching them, although there were only animals in this Savannah area a couple of hours a day. We saw Giraffes and some other cattle/deer like animals but as I said, it was a small savannah and I have to guess that it probably was one of the worst "Savannah Views". Regardless, waking up in the morning and sitting out on the balcony watching the Giraffes is just awesome. I would definitely choose a Savannah View again, even if it means we have the same room. Hope you enjoy your stay, I think you all will be fine.

Thank you for the info......I will be making my first trip home next August with my three, yes three teenage nephews :sad2: and will be staying in a 2br so any ideas/thoughts are great help. It will be the first trip to DW for all three of them so I am excited to take them. I have taken my nieces on trips the past several years and now I have broken down and am taking the boys. pirate:
