Who has stayed at the DD Hilton? I am curious what your experience was. I checked out there website today and took a look at there rooms. We are thinking of staying the DD area instead of in the parks. Let me know what you think.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Have not stayed at the Hilton, but this past spring we stayed at the Wyndham at DD after 3 fabu stays in Disney resorts.

If youve been staying at Disney resorts, I dont reccommend you try the Hilton, no matter how good the deal. They all lack by comparison. Id stay at the all-stars again before id stay at the multi-star DD resorts.

I got it for $60-something on priceline and would call it a fair deal at that price. It's definitely 4*, NOT a resort IMHO so priceline's evaluation is a bit generous. All in all, not a bad property. The restaurants are good, the pool area is nicely sized and though not themed, it's very good with an interesting 2 tier hottub. The rooms are std Hilton quality and that all important Starbucks latte is easily had, day or night in the snackbar :-).

I have stayed there several times. The hotel is very nice. Probably not a true "resort" but a good deal and a great location. Walking to DTD is easy! This is also one of the few (if not the only) DTD hotels that does the early entry program.

My room was larger then some Disney rooms and clean.

We have stayed at the Hilton many times through priceline. It is worth the $60 for the ability to walk to DD Disney! We have always received a room facing DD and watched the fireworks everynight.

The rooms are average, but not as small as some other hotels. The pool area is nice and they have 2 pretty large pools and a kiddie pool. I guess it just makes a difference of what is important to you. We would choose the Hilton over the All-Stars anytime as my family values the extra amenities. ie: mainly the walking distance to DD, hot tubs, sauna room, Neutrogena bath products, sit down restaurants, just to name a few.

All that being said, we are also DVC members and nothing compares to that!
