Who has Spring Break April 11-15, 2016?

I'm looking at dates for 2016, and considering Saturday 4/9 through Saturday 4/16. Easter is WAY early (3/27), Massachusetts' is the week after my proposed dates, my area's Spring Break is mid-March as usual...

The week of April 11 seems to be a sweet spot - not as many people on Spring Break. So far on the Dis, I've seen 2 people from KY and one from NJ say they're on break that week.

So, come out, come out, wherever you are. Am I nuts, or does that sound like a good week in April to avoid a lot of Spring Break crowds next year?

I think it sounds like a great week. College spring breaks seem to be mostly in March and lots of elementary/high school kids take week before or week after Easter. My kids spring break is actually the week of April 11th but that is because it is always the second full week in April. I was thinking that this week in 2016 would be a good time for us to visit also.

Yep, we are one of the KY families who have spring break that week and we are planning a trip down. We have always had SB Easter week so have never wanted to go to WDW at that time...hoping this later week will be less crowded!

A few northeast states are off last week April for passover, looking to go april 20-30 just not sure how crowds are going to be

We are another KY family heading down for this week in 2016. We arrived the weekend after Easter back in 2013 and it was great! It was crowded but not holiday crowded. You will not be disappointed.

We are a small state but CT is moving to a consolidated school calendar. April 11-15 is the Spring Vacation week for 1/3 of the schools in CT next year. That is the week we are planning on going (I hope SW fares are cheaper than JB's for that week!)

We are in Southern CT, and our spring break is the week of April11th in 2016.

We are in Central CT, and our vacation is the week after that. Looking at going that week, but right now, hotel rates are cray-cray.

Another Kentucky girl here. We are heading down that week also due to Spring Break. I've only ever been during Summer, so I'm hoping the weather will be a big plus!

I thought the weather from 4/18-4/24 this year was really nice, temperature-wise. There were a couple of days with pretty good rains, but not all-day events. All I know about summer at WDW is what I've read here, but if you're used to that, you should love April. Be sure you have time to roam around Epcot during the Flower & Garden festival. Lots of pretty flowers and neat topiaries!

The temperature in April alone will be enough to make you happy. The first time we came in April my husband declared we never go in the summer again
