Who has re-booked while onboard recently?

I am planning a Feb 2005 Cruise (10th anniversary) and I will be on the Magic for the Jan 31, 2004 cruise.

1. How do you go about re-booking while aboard?

2. What is the incentive to do so? (On board credit, better rate)

3. I have read about people who re-book online, and then transfer it to another TA. What do you save / get?

I plan to do my homework up front so that I know if I am getting a good deal.

Thanks!

Scott

WE got ten percent off the early booking savings and then a 200.00 stateroom credit, we then transferred to dreams which gave us a rebate off our final price of 100.00 . It is very easy, know which cabin and date you want go see the woman midship and give her you creditcard number (it is 250.00 pp deposit.)

We rebooked last week - same deal as Ann's. However, since we have teenage daughters, we will be booking two rooms, so we will receive $400 onboard credit. With this discount, and so far in advance, the two rooms (a cat 6 and a cat 11) were cheaper than the cat 8 we spent last week in, and that is not including the $400 credit!

It is a really good deal!!!
