Who has had late dining with an infant/toddler?

We did when DS was 8 months old. He did fine with it. He fell asleep during the show and then was ready to go by dinner time. Our waiters were wonderful with him...one even carried him around the dining room. ;) The only problem we had was with our 3 1/2 yo.
For our next cruise we are currently booked for Early, but I think we will change it to Late. The kids will be 5 1/2 & almost 9 by then so it should go better...but Im still debating. ;) I definitely prefer late myself.

Sailed on the 3/11/04 wonder with a 9yold 10yold and a 6yold... we had late dining.... our 6yold fell asleep every night during dinner.... But we are still glad we had late seating because he was wide awake for the shows.. Our servers were great they even made a little "bed" for him out of chairs and covered him with a "blanket" table cloth..

If your child is old enough for the clubs you may want to take them there before dinner.... they have the kids lay on nap mats and watch a movie during the evening...
