I was thinking about letting my ds10 do the priate cruise. We were trying to think of stuff for ds10 to do while ds2 is napping. Does anyone have children that have done this cruise? The description says it is for ages 4-10. I am a little worried my 10yo might be bored. Any thoughts? pirate:

Our 10 year old son just did his 3rd pirate cruise in March. I had thought he would want to pass on the 3rd time and just let his two younger brothers do it, but he was really excited to do it again.

Last year my 10yDD went on the pirate cruise and I was afraid she wouldn't have fun; 1 because she was one of a few girls and 2 because she was the oldest. When she came back she had the biggest smile on her face and she loved it. In fact we are doing it again next week when we go.

My BIL, who is 36, went on it for the first time last week... and loved it so much he had to do it again!!! It doesn't matter how big of a kid you are!

That's the first real good laugh I've had in a while. Thanks.

My DS was 7 when he did this and loved it! My youngest DS was devastated that he didn't get to ride on the pirate boat and wear the bandana (he was only 2 at the time). His time will arrive in February when he is finally old enough to go on his cruise.

My 5-1/2 year old will be doing it. She is not booked with a sibling or a buddy,I hope she makes friends on the cruise. Have any of you sent a child as a "single"?

My three kids did it together last year. What they will do though is put a "buddy" together with any single kids. The CM who run it are terrific and they make sure no child is alone! Your daughter will have a great time. One of my dds was 5 1/2 when she went for the first time and she liked it so much they're all going back this year. Have fun.
