We had Thanksgiving there last year. If you have never been to Whispering Canyon it is most definitly a unique experience! Thanksgiving makes it just as good if you are in to that type of thing (which we are). They did use a MIC to MC the festivities, had all the usual pony races, napkin waving and ketchup pilfering.
Food was good but not super spectacular stellar. They serve it as they serve their all-you-can-eat, on a lazy susan, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, turkey, ham, bones-in chicken, mashed potatoes, corn bread. There is a salad and pumpkin pie for dessert. I didn't ask but I don't think they had other options for dessert. Jeff (my husband) did get one of the bottomless milkshakes so they still serve those.
All the food is all served together, so if you are a type that doesn't like one food touching other types food, this might not be a good option. but we enjoyed it.
