who has done Race for the Taste? Question for you!

Just wondering what the post race picnic entails? What do they serve? Id it breakfast stuff? They make it sound like the food is From the F and W festival. But with a 7 am start and a 15 minute/mile pace, everyone would be done by about 8:30 and that just seems super early for that kind of food.

I'd just like to hear from anyone who has run this one. I am toying with the idea of doing this one. I am definitely in for TOT, but for some reason I am feeling the need to do any disney race I can while I still live within 2 hours from WDW!

From what I read of last year's, it is indeed F&W selections and not very breakfast-y at all. But come join us anyway!

No breakfast food unfortunately. Last year they had 3 samples...an appetizer (mango & strawberry salad with cilantro) which was really good, a main dish (empanada) which was okay but a little too heavy that early, & a dessert (kiwi & custard roll) which was also tasty.

It's a great race that's a ton of fun!

This will be my first year doing Race for the Taste...thanks for the info. The breakfast-y food after the Minnie was great. I guess I will have DH and DD waiting at the finish line for me with a banana and muffin!

Yeah, I didn't care for the food options last year. But it is a fun race and a very cute medal! I'll see you there!

Don't go for the food or you will be disappointed. I wasn't too impressed last year but the race was fun! But, once I finished I didn't hang around as we had to get going. Maybe if I had waited an hour or so it might have been better.

The race was a lot of fun though. Good luck!
