Who has disney infinity?

I wouldn't assume your older kids won't play it.
We play so much my 2 year old has now figured out the controls. With the toy boxes it really is much more fun with 2 players. My 4 and 10 year olds will get up on the weekends now and if we let them will not stop playing all day. Last time I tried to make them go outside they had their characters start playing tag as an argument that they already know how to run around.

Yes, Wii U supports two player mode.

I have no idea if it's a good deal or not, but Amazon has an Infinity bundle (which doesn't release until mid December) that has 13 extra characters, the toy story and cars game packs and a frozen....thing for $200 as the preorder price.

Grandma bought this (Santa is bringing the WiiU and Infinity starter pack) and we'll dole it out for Xmas and his birthday in the spring. Frankly, I'm just glad to lay out the money (well, extra glad that someone else is laying out the money) and won't have to do it here and there.

Just make sure if you want to play the "story mode" with 2 players that you get at least 2 players from that set...ex: It comes with Mr. Incredible so you need to add Mrs. Incredible (or one of the kids or the villain) to be able to play with 2 people. You can play the "toybox mode" with any 2 characters, but the other mode you need from the same movie

I bought it for ds9 for Christmas. He was really in to Skylanders for awhile but he beat Giants so fast we felt it would be a waste to get him SwapForce. Even he wasn't too excited about SwapForce.
We'll all play infinity though. I think I am as excited to play it as he will be.
We got it for the PS3. So far I have the starter pack, Woody, Jack Skellington, the Sidekicks pack, Lone Ranger Set, Toy Story pack, and a villains pack I think. I still want to get him the Cars playset and maybe the Wreck it Ralph characters.

I don't think it's made for the DS. You'll have to get a different gaming platform.

This sounds tempting, but I've just started looking at the game, so does anyone know if it's a good deal and worth buying?

My DS10 wants this for Christmas (currently debating between the WiiU or xbox version) and I'm trying to figure out which characters are going to give him the best experience. I don't want him to be disappointed on Christmas morning because he can't very far in the game.

They do make it for the 3DS, but it doesn't get as good reviews. I have to think about this. No way are we getting a new HDTV and console just to play this...

And I have the girls from Frozen (Anna and Elsa), the Girl Power set (Rapunzel, Violet Incredible, & Vanelope), and Sorcerer Mickey on pre-order. We have so much fun with it that we have to get all the characters. It is a really fun game that has sucked the whole family in.

I don't know why people are saying you can't play the Wii version in multiplayer. I looked up how to do it and we were able to do it with no issues.

Well, you CAN do it. I had to look up the directions on the internet because I didn't know how to at first.

I preordered Mickey from Newegg.com They offered free shipping on all of their pre-orders.

Nintendo lost a lot of money producing WiiU after it had bad reviews and poor sales. They decided to stop making the Wii in hopes to get more people to buy the WiiU. I think its a stupid idea. Why discontinue something that sells in hopes of making people buy something that's crappy? But they are trying to make Wii less attractive so people will gravitate towards the WiiU. I'm not surprised they say you can't do multiplayers on the Wii because they are intentionally trying to sway the public towards buying the WiiU. Again, I think its really stupid marketing to make your own product look bad trying to get them to buy another one of your really bad products. Anyway, like I said, it can be done. People have discovered the cheat on how to make it happen. It is on the internet. I won't debate it with you. Believe me or don't.

Hey guys. If you don't want to waste your money buying packs of power discs only to get another duplicate, here's what you can do. Buy a bunch of power discs. You can't do this on the display consoles in the store, but you can do it at home. Take them home and have your Disney Infinity game running. Then put the unopened power disc pack on the console with whatever character you happen to be playing with. The console will read the discs through the package and they will appear on the screen. If the pack contains a power disc you want, just open the pack and keep it. If the pack contains discs you do not want, just returned the unopened package to the store. We bought a bunch of them from Walmart and they let us return them since they were unopened. It is a great way to get all the discs without investing a fortune on duplicates.

The are actually releasing the Wii mini this weekend for $99 for the bundle pack. So the Wii isn't out yet!
