When we bought our home a few years ago, it came with a hot tub and an above ground pool, both of which we recently removed. We used the pool for several years, and have enjoyed watching our dogs swim in it. It was a 24 foot round with steel walls that began to rust and had we not taken it down, I don't know how much longer it would have held up.
So anyway, we purchased one of those Radiant Pools. Anyone ever heard of them? I have been doing research for months and have become somewhat of an expert on above ground pools. The radiant pool walls are aluminum and come in sections. I guess they are somewhat insulated and will withstand the bad weather we get here in the NorthEast. We needed something with aluminum walls, as half of our pool will be built into a slop in our yard. ( I believe that is why the old steel pool started to rust)
Although structurally the radiant pool is the best you can buy (IMO), it definitely is not the prettiest. Because it is made to be an in the ground/ half above/ half in structure, there is no detail to make the pool pleasing to the eye. We have the option to put coping around it, but I am planning on attaching a pool fence and we can't attach it if the coping is put down. We are building a composit deck half way around.
Okay, I will now get to the point of the thread. CAN ANYONE PLEASE SHOW ME PICTURES OF THEIR ABOVE GROUND POOL AND WHAT YOU DID TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE.
The pool hasn't been installed yet, and my husband says I am worrying to much, but we all know that above ground pools are not that pretty to begin with and we are spending quite a bit of money on all the decking and pool and understandably I just want it to look nice.
Can anyone share their pictures/ ideas.
Thanks
