Who has a Kindle? (wireless reading device)

I'm thinking about getting a Kindle, but I was wondering - does anyone think they'll be marked down again before Christmas??

(Missed Oprah's deal - dang!!)

If they are I doubt it will be a significant markdown since they are selling like hotcakes now that Oprah is on board. If I were considering it, I'd buy now while there's plenty of supply instead of waiting until Christmas when there may be quite a waiting list.

I honestly have no idea but with it being November already I suspect demand will increase and haven't heard if there will likely be adequate supply. They did start out at $399 and dropped to the current $359 but the demand has shot skyward the last few weeks. I hate to wait for things I'm excited about

Unfortunately, my favorite author's new book that was released this week is not available on kindle, so I'll be buying that in hardback.
