Who had a glass of wine tonight, the first in a while?

I'll be asleep by then. :rotfl:

And Reisling? Gosh, if we do anything more sophisticated than a white Zinfandel, that would be shocking. Tonight it was Muscato!

Heck, it wasn't Ripple, eh?

I'm about to have a glass, but I can't say it's the first in a while!!!;)

Of course, I live in a country where a cheap (but decent) bottle of wine goes for about $3 USD, and a 'sophisticated' bottle goes for about $8.

I think I'll opt for a carmenere tonight!

ewwww.... wine just tastes so sour...

But it's been a really long time (years) since I had a nice cocktail drink, or any alcohol for that matter.

:rotfl: I take my wine pretty seriously. I'll drink WZ, but I prefer Riesling, Pinot Grigio, and Shiraz! :snooty: LOL.

If I could be drinking a glass now, I would, but I am on call for work until 10pm, so...

Remembering college... I was even "lower-end": gosh Liebfraumilch. Lambrusco. ... Me? Nostalgic? :)

In my "beginning" days, I thought Boones Farm was FAAAncy!
 And then later, I was "THE" wine drinker with my "Two Buck Chuck" Charles Shaw wine! LOL! ;)

I'm with you - I drink wine in the evening a couple of times a week, and I love a good Bordeaux, Pinot Noir or a not-too-sweet Riesling. Think I'll go pour a glass now :thumbsup2

Might be having a glass or two after the kiddos go to bed...and while we're watching the DVR of The Real World from last night.

Gewurztraminer is a really good white wine that isn't stuffy.

Lambrusco just yells "drink me"...and I usually obey. Don't keep it in the house much because of that.

Any Black Opal is good.

Oh gosh I love wine, but my taste is definitely not sophisticated  My mom is a big wine snob and makes fun of me a lot.. but man, if I could get an IV put in with a continuous stream of Martini & Rossi asti spumante, I'd be one happy girl! ::yes:: It's like drinking juice!

Cheers Bicker. I have a bunch of wine that needs to be shared (including a box of wine!), so I'm having a little wine drinking shindig tomorrow night, I can't wait. Love to have you, but alas.....

I like the sweet stuff....Niagara, Concord. Always from our local wineries. This past weekend I picked up some stuff from the winery at our Renaissance Faire, including a bottle of Honey Mead! Cant wait to try it. Anyone ever have mead?

Wow I'd forgotten all about that one! I think the last time I had that I was still underage ;)

mmmmmmmmmm I love White Zin, what's your favorite one? I have a bottle of Beringer and a bottle of Barefoot in my fridge right now, Barefoot is my favorite.

I tried a Shiraz 2 weekends ago, I really liked it a lot. It was Barefoot and only like $5 for the bottle! lol

Honey Mead? No never tried it but I would love to! Let us know how it is. :)

I'm not a big wine drinker but I was considering doing pasta for dinner and having some wine with it. :)
