Who got tickets to Miley's party?

Our initial plans were to get tickets and go. DD is a huge fan. But when the "couple of songs" together with extra time on our holiday, plunging Aussie Dollar, blah blah, we decided not too.

Funilly enough, DD wasn't too upset. Although we did twist the truth a little with our expalnation.

But yes, if she ever does come to Australia I'll purchase tickets. Front row if I have to.

I am sure that Disney will not disappoint. This is going to be televised later on and I am sure that it is not going to be just Miley Cyrus. I would bet you will see the whole Disney crew. It is a lot of money, but at least it is for a good cause. Some parents spend that just for the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boo dress up shop at WDW. CRAZY!

Tickets are still available. Looks like Disney advertising is not doing a great job on this one... I just logged right on and bought four.

Maybe scalpers are avoiding this event because you HAVE to pick up your tickets at the booth on the day of the event after which they escort you into the park.

Oct 3-5 is gay days..not a good time for family..I don't have anything against gays but that many together are not family friendly and quite an education for young children

I'm sure part of the problem with sellling this event is ummm. . . hello a sunday night????? maybe at the end of the school year it would have been better, but this early in the school year. . . I do not see many pulling kids out of school to go to this. . . . .

That is correct, Sy, Sunday is the day for all to fast! he he! and don't forget those fast passes, and please do not pass out in the tropic heat when taking a cruise of the jungle. actually it is nice and cool on the Jungle Cruise, it is waiting in the que, that can be on the warm side.

What I meant by that was, the parks are usually busier and open later on Saturday than Sunday. But who really knows the exact reason. Maybe it was the only day that all the stars could attend. They schedule concerts for the middle of the week all of the time. We just did the Jonas Brothers on a Wednesday night (a birthday gift for my daughter). The kids were fine though. They were on such an adrenaline rush, they could have stayed up all night. JK. I will say that on Thursday morning, all I said was it was time to get up and get ready. They got dressed, ate breakfast and walked out the door all smiles. They knew that it would be their last school night event if there was any trouble Thursday morning.

I purchased two tickets two hours ago. A bit of a spur of the moment descision. Myself and DD 13 Will be making the trip on our own this time as DH has just started a new job and can't get the time off. We leave on October 3rd have three days in DLR and then off to Canada to spend Thanksgiving with my mum. I've booked the flights now I just need to find a hotel.
