Who got tickets to Miley's party?

I believe the tickets will sell for far more than $2000 a piece once this is advertised correctly. This is going to be a huge event. Disneyland is closing for her birthday party. Other posts have discussed being called to change their dining plans, since the park is closing early. Also, it is being video taped and I predict to be played on her actual 16th birthday in Nov. I know they didn't say who "friends" are, but I expect it is the rest of the Disney Channel gang. I have seen front row concert tickets sell for $2000, and that didn't include having Disneyland to practically yourself and getting surprises.
They listed this as a once in a lifetime event, and nobody does it better than Disney!

We are not going to the party, but might get up early for the 6:30am park opening.

We might still be on east coast time anyway. I am guessing locals will NOT get there that early.

Tickets are still available. Hopefully those who bought tickets as an investment won't be stuck with tickets they can't sell.

We had our trip planned for the 4-11th of October before the b-day party was even announced. I start thinking that I should spring for the extra $513 (two tickets with fees) to bring DD, since we will be there anyway......but just can't do it, lol.

If I were you I would spring for the tickets and pay for your whole vacation.:rotfl:

I hope they do get burned. Serves them right for trying to price gouge and charge outrageous prices even when tickets are still available.

Nothing would be better than if they wound up eating several tickets because they were trying to charge $1000+ each for them.:lmao:

Unfortunately, we have a supply vs. demand problem here. You are talking about Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana. She sells stadiums out that fill 20,000+
You can't go shopping anywhere without seeing her. I don't think there will be a problem selling tickets 5,000 to see her. When you think about it, it is only 1250 families of 4.
I guess we will just have to wait and see. I got my tickets, so I am not worried.:cool1:

Yep, lots of tickets still available. The Ebay seller who is trying to sell 3 tickets for $4,000!!! is falsely advertising it as sold out.

How do you know "lots" of tickets are still available? I wonder how they are able to post SOLD OUT, when it isn't yet. The only people bidding on ebay now are people unaware of the Disney website. Once it sells out, then you will really see the prices on ebay skyrocket!

i would think Disney has a back up plan to insure those who paid for tickets are the ones actually going in. . . especially in light of what happened with her concert tickets . . .. would not surprise me one bit if you get double checked for ID going through the turnstile OR if once you pick up the ticket you cannot leave . . . it is sad that a lot of people will buy something with the sole purpose of reselling it for more money. . . but for those of you who are going the legit way HAVE FUN!

i woulkd never trust some one else to sell me the tickets and never buy 1000-3000 tickets on ebay there still being sold by disney 250 buy from them not some scamers

I know! I can't believe those people on e-bay waanting 3,000 for tickets!

I agree. Serves them right, and I hope they do get stuck with them. People who buy hot ticket items for "investments" and resell them to parents for outrageous prices are downright immoral, dishonest and mean. It always makes me so mad when that stuff happens at Christmastime with the hot toys for the year.

Oct 3-5 is gay days..not a good time for family..I don't have anything against gays but that many together are not family friendly and quite an education for young children

I humbly disagree. There will be many Gay families there with their children. Moms and dads just like you telling jr. that he cant have a churro and ice cream before breakfast and knowing when its nap time or someone needs a time out. I think unless one pointed out and explained to a child >>>> that man is gay and that is his boyfriend and .... , a child wouldnt know the difference. Those would just be 2 more people that would be in line ahead of him to get to Mickey Mouse. I seriously doubt there would be anything celatious (sp?) going on at DL just because it is Gay days.
Just my 2 c.:wizard:

While I do partially agree with you, it wouldn't happen if so many parents out there weren't so willing to pay the outrageous prices. Regardless of what they tell you, your kids will not ACTUALLY die if they don't have a Wii, or Hannah tickets or whatever the newest big thing is. It is more about the parents, in my opinion, who have to make sure that little Johnny has all the biggest and best stuff no matter how much money they have to spend on it. I think that is where the term "More money than sense" comes from. Sorry, that was just my 2 cents. Back to the original purpose of this thread. :)

I have been to WDW during gay days and while most of the attendies behaved as adults, there were a few that felt they needed to express themselves to the world. It wasn't the couples that had families that were acting the fool. Just as I refrain from making out and feeling my husband up, I expect others to do the same.
We really had a great time though--met some great people and partied the night away at PI. We didn't know it was gay days until we were in line at PI. Luck for me, my DH is comfortable around gays. We have a lot of friends and employees that are gay and he said he was more comfortable because he didn't have to worry about someone trying to hit on us girls. By the end of the night the guys that waiting in line in front of us to get in the club were buying us drinks and flowers. It really turned out to be a fun night. Who would have thought?

Sorry but I have to disagree//Gay days at Disneyland was a total PDA.
obscene t-shirts and alot of grabbing. It was bad enough that if that was the only time I could go to DL I would never go back.
They had no respect for anyone else. Most seemed to be into seeing how many people they could shock.

Let's please keep this thread on the topic of Miley Cyrus's birthday party.

We are going in November, but almost picked that week in October to go. If we would have been there, I would have taken DD9. We were out of town without internet access this weekend and I thought that would solve my wanting to take DD9 anyway. I can't believe there are still tickets available.....i just can't bring myself to justify the cost of one night.

Our initial plans were to get tickets and go. DD is a huge fan. But when the "couple of songs" together with extra time on our holiday, plunging Aussie Dollar, blah blah, we decided not too.

Funilly enough, DD wasn't too upset. Although we did twist the truth a little with our expalnation.:rolleyes1

But yes, if she ever does come to Australia I'll purchase tickets. Front row if I have to.

I'm sorry that this is off the topic of the Miley Cyrus Birthday party but I feel I have to respond to this. For the last three years, my husband and I have been to Disneyland during Gay Days and have not witnessed any bad bahavior like blutes has stated. In fact, if it wasn't for the many red shirts, you wouldn't even know that it was Gay Days. Everyone that we encountered was friendly, polite and well behaved. I'm sure that there are isolated incidents, but there are always going to be people who act like fools no matter what group is gathering.
