Who gets Good Friday off ?

DH. Company owners are Christian fundamentalists. He wasn't off for MLK's birthday (federal holiday).

Not me. Usually off on Fridays, but I have a big project coming up.

Make up snow day for kids.

I have to work today and so does my DH. I think it's a money thing with my employer, they don't want to pay everyone for another holiday while we aren't working and generating revenue. They are fairly generous over the course of the year though so I'm not complaining. DH works in health care and so his employer never closes but they don't count Good Friday or Easter as a holidays anyway.
I don't think Christian owners really have much to do with it, I have a friend who works at a Christian school and they aren't off today.

Kinda sorta. I am working from home b/c the school's are out today. So not technically going into work, but still responsible for getting some stuff turned in.

No one is off here. The kids have school, we have work (although I took the day off to take DD16 to her endodontist appointment).

Me too...and normally I would be off, but I wanted Sunday off, so I switched...so I am here.

I don't, I work at a bank(back office- not at a branch), bank doesn't close for Good Friday or Easter Monday. But we do have off on Columbus and Veteran's Days. LOL

Not me. No one in our division could even take today as a vacation day, our temp service is out of temps today, so no temps = no time off.

Oh well.

I'm not, but 80% of my clients are in Canada where it's a National Holiday...so I'm not doing much.

Im working tonight. I did take sat off so i could go to epcot and see Nelson. We are closed Sun but we dont get paid for it like on Christmas and Thanksgiving

Well sort of anyway. I have off from my "real job" but I will be going to my other "job" at the family business, I will be working there tomorrow too.

I took off of my "real job" next week too but it's because I'm working a trade show for one of the family businesses, does that count as being on vacation?
