See!.. I told ya , you would really love it, when you get a chance to relax and soak it all in... I could not live anywhere else... I'm just a country girl I guess!

It has been hot here too, but we are now starting to get storms in the late afternoons...I like that. It makes it so I don't have to water my garden.

Kim,
I am starting to get excited about the trip!... So ... Just to make sure we are on the same track, We will meet up at sunshine seasons in the AM of the 16th?, and call each other when we arrive at Epcot....Right? Is that still good for you?

Its so funny because I thought the same thing when I saw the new tags!.. I hope the DME CM that loads all the Disney bags ...can handle it!...LOL
OooH! Lucky Kelly, gets her bro's room!... I loved it when my older sis moved out...Her room was so much more "cool" then mine, and twice as big. Dont worry about Matt too much, when my boys first moved out I saw them more then when they lived home

Well Mike and I have a wedding to go to later this afternoon..Its at the State park down the road so its not formal... Should be fun!
and then the girls tomorrow of course.

Right now we are off to get some gas so I can get all the lawn mowed before we leave. That way we don't come back to a jungle...LOL

I went and dipped my toes into Lake Erie today.

Liz and I spent a couple of hours at the beach.

It was a very nice change of pace.

Got a new roof on the house yesterday. Lots of banging and loud noises all day long. Looks nice though.

Still lots of people coming through and looking but so far nobody wants to buy it.

Enjoying going out to the new house and getting a few things done out there every now and again.

What is everyone else up to these days?

Hello everyone!

Robin,
The beach sounds nice...and relaxing for a few hrs sounds even better..

This morning I went to the blueberry festival in Montrose. I took a ton of pictures. I even went into the fire station. Its one of the oldest building in Montrose, and the front part is a museum. There are a few old fire wagons, and other historic items.

Then this evening Mike and I went to the "Balloon Rally and Spiedie Fest", in Binghamton. It was a beautiful night and I got some awesome pictures of the balloons filling up and taking off.. and then they came back filled up again and did what they call "night glow", by shooting the flame up into the balloon and it glows in the dusk...I cant wait to upload them. I also ate too much, but when your at a spiedie fest, ya just gotta eat some spiedies!

And my next article is going to be posted tomorrow.. I'll add the link when it is.

All in all a pretty good day!

Yes I am! Its a lot of fun...Of course I love doing the Disney articles, but I have some stories about local stuff in the works too!

I think I'm more excited than the kids! The past week has been grueling and I really need me some Disney! Matt's 'big' moving day was last Sunday, even though I was helping him throughout the previous week. Kelly & I were 2 of 5 helpers. Lotsa work that day. That night, Kelly started in her 'new' room. Took us 3 days/nights, but we finished the painting. Then, I spent approx 7 hours assembling her new loft bed/desk. And then, moving her dresser and bookcase. I need me some Disney! I have bruises, a burn and a blood blister! My kids are trying to kill me. Plus, we're having internet and DirecTv issues this weekend. Did I say I need me some Disney?!

Packing tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Robin, there is still time, and maybe you could get a good deal on air! I always see the lower prices on the last min. deals pages. Who knows! Its worth a look... It would be great to see you too! Kind of a pre-cruise meet

Right now I am listening to my Polynesian CD, Tikiman sent to me a few years ago, I know they changed the loop they play, so its not the same, but it keeps me from going crazy waiting....

I sent the kids box-0-Disney stuff, UPS yesterday. It should get there by Friday.
I hope!...It has the girls dresses in them for their meet with the princesses at the castle.

Today I try to get some mowing done and food shop for my Granddaughter. If I dont buy some TV dinners she may not eat.(she's NOT a cook).. LOL. Although she works at Subway, so I know she wont starve!

Now for my good new.........

I think we have sold our house.

We had an offer and it is only conditional on getting a mortgage, a possible home inspection and obtaining insurance on the house.

We heard the people were already pre-approved for a mortgage so I'm very hopeful.

Hopeful that I don't have to keep my house so neat and tidy all the time anymore
