Who feels like a threadkiller - Take 4!

Thanks Kim

The really interesting part is that these people have not even seen our house with their own two eyes :scared1:

They live on the opposite of the country, but the man is from here originally.

His mom and a contractor came yesterday to look at the house, took a ton of pictures too according to my neighbour.

They decided on the basis of that...........

so........

I guess the real trick to selling a house is to sell it to someone who hasn't actually seen the house :lmao:

It seemed that the wife really liked what she saw in the pictures and was determined to have it. So who am I to argue with her;)

Robin :lmao: That made me laugh....

Congrats! So that means it's sold right?

It is sold as soon as the guy arranges a mortgage on the property, completes a home inspection (if he wants one but we haven't heard that he does) and he gets proof that he can get insurance on the house.

As soon as he can do all that, he signs off on his conditions and it should be sold.

He has until next Saturday to accomplish all of those things.

RObin,
I see congrats are in order!:goodvibes
Great!
We are having a fantastic time. It was so fun meeting with kim and ann. Wish we had more time to visit. Unfortunately the kids have been running out of speed by 7ish every night. It has rained every night by then anyway. Right now we are waiting to get into Ohanas.
I hope you all are having a great day!

I have a request, please.

If anyone sees a Downy Fabric Softener ball while out doing their shopping would you please pick one up and send it to me?

I will payback all costs, including shipping.

Liz would like one but they are nowhere to be found around here.

No official word on the sale of the house yet. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

Hello TKers:wave:

Robin,
I am going food shopping today I will look for it for you.
We had a great trip, and I am now recovering from it. The kids had a lot of fun and have asked to go again. I told them to talk to Mom and Dad... LOL

Next year is our dream cruise by ourselves, then in two years, its our 40th Anniversary. We are thinking of going to Ireland, or maybe Australia.
I have always wanted to go there, but the thing about Australia is its such a long flight, and I'm not sure Id like that.
The thing about Ireland is it's never really warm, but I have always wanted to see the countrysides of Ireland.
We are also thinking of Spain...:confused3 Cant seem to decide. :scratchin
At any rate we will not be doing any grandkid trips for awhile!;)

How is everybody doing? I hope you are all staying safe from "Irene"! We are too far inland to have to worry about it. Only a lot of rain...and none yet.

Thinking of ya all!

Hi Robin,
i looked at Target the other day & they didn't have one....if i wasn't looking - they'd be everywhere...but i've been watching for them as well :)

Thanks Betsy and Brenda for looking for Liz for the Downey ball.

I know we looked all over about a year ago for one for her. Her boyfriend's(at the time) mother found one somewhere in the US and brought it back.

Unfortunately for Liz, he got custody of the Downey Ball during the split :lmao:

Now the search is on for a new one!.

Next year is our dream cruise by ourselves,

You and Mike all alone on your dream cruise............. along with about a dozen Threadkillers and assorted family members :rotfl2:

Just ignore us. We are not really all onboard with you, just a figment of your imagination:thumbsup2

Hello TKers:wave:
I am just popping in. I am on my way to a friends cottage.
We are helping them close it up for the season. We will go home on Sunday.
The weather isn't expected to be that great, but with good friends who cares!
Not to mention the good food and wine to go with it all! Should be fun!
I hope you all enjoy your weekendpixiedust:

TTFNpaw:

Enjoy your time together Betsy.

We are pulling carpet out of the new house and removing staples from the subfloor:sad2: But soon we will have some nice new carpeting and no longer have any carpet in the bathrooms.

Alex and Stephanie are having an at-home reception in honour of their wedding this weekend. It is being hosted by her mom and will be mostly her family. We will of course be going to that.

Other than that, guess we will have to wait and see what comes along.

Hey TKers!

Just wanted to let you know the next article in my Disney series has been published on Millivers Travels! Please go enjoy it and leave a comment there if you'd like.

I'm doing ok. The floods have been pretty bad all around us, but we are fine up on our hill. Mike has been stuck home, but can work from here. The new flood wall at the hospital where he works has held! This is great news. He just cant get into Binghamton as all the bridges are closed, and a lot of Binghamton and surrounding towns and villages are under water. We took some pictures. Ill post as soon as I get the chance...

My DBIL did post this link to pictures he took.

and I found this post on FB, taken from a plan flying over Binghamton and area. There is a picture of the Hospital from the air too.
