So Dante's 14 today. We kind of had a birthday weekend but had the cake and ice cream today.

Where is time going??

So has anyone cruised during December? What kind of weather can I expect? Will I at least be able to tan?

we had better / warmer weather on our NY Eve's cruise than we did last October - but you never so pack "layers"

Yes I have cruised in December and also many times in January.

You can never really know what the weather will be like. Sometimes it is fantastic and other times not so much. You should probably be able to tan but you might find it a bit chilly. Too chilly probably for swimming in the ocean since you are a "southern wimp"

Brenda is right, pack with layers so that you are ready for any and all weather types and hope you only need those shorts and tshirts

So I think the plan will be to pack layers. Thx.. I get cold so easily so I will definately have my light jacket with me.

Also We decided to plan our resort/park trip after the cruise instead of before the cruise because we don't want the kids to miss 2 wks of school. They get the last two weeks of Dec off from school.

We were trying to decide on a resort. Pre-cruise we were set on AKL but since we are doing the cruise I'm thinking POR French. Trying to save money.

Today is DeVaughn's birthday. He's 11 today. I baked him a cake. Nothing fancy.

We went to AMC Fork and Screen over the weekend. It was pretty neat to be served dinner and watch the movie at the same time. Anyone every been to one?

We saw The Green Lantern in 3D which wasn't too impressive in my opinion. At least during Thor there was some eyecandy to look at.

Anyways, hope you all had a great weekend. I go back to work tomorrow... It will be a busy day since I took today off.

There is also a Canadian version so right now I've got double dance shows to watch

I usually record them all and watch them later though. I rarely watch anything while it is actually on the television.

I'm sorry - I've been blogging, cooking and blogging some more! I've put in a lot of man hours getting the new site up and running. (bought me a URL). It's done pretty well and I'm having a GREAT time! I've also lost 18.5 pounds! When I lose 20 pounds, I'm going to get a pair of earrings I've had my eye on.

Hello everyone!
Another big weekend for us..yesterday Albert had a grooming apt. and he needed it..he was looking a bit scruffy...Had a nice lunch out and did some shopping while we waited for him to get done.
and today we went to Billy and Kateri's first communion, then later a combo first communion party for them both/Birthday party for Billy. Bill's Birthday is July first. It was a fun day!

18 LBs!...Ann you are doing great!...

Ann How are ya?? 18.5lbs!! Great job! I'm at a plateau. Been here for a while now. If I could just lose 20 more lbs I'll be at my idea weight. Keep it up Ann!

So guess what everyone?? I got a part time job!! Kind of... the M.D. that I work with asked if I could help with his progress notes on all his patients. He said he would compensate me for the work since technically it's not part of my job and most likely I'll be doing it from home because I have other duties to do while at work. It shouldn't be much work and I don't mind the extra money.

So I got my Bon Voyage DCL packet in the mail the other day. So excited.

I definately want to do another cruise and I haven't even done this one yet. How do I convince Roger about the Aug cruise?!?!

That leaves the 16th & 17th... If you would like to meet up with both of us...Hey that would make it a Mini Meet! Maybe we could make a res. someplace for a meal...???? Just a suggestion, to either of you or both.


I have a bit of interesting news.....
I was going to get my DGD Brittany and drive her here so she can stay for awhile. and I figured seeing as I'm just driving there and back...Ill take Albert with me. She had some boxes to bring and I was using Mikes truck. After putting Albert in the truck, I noticed a box in the back seat, so I put down the windows a crack and got the box and shut the door( so he wouldn't get out)..walked the box to the shed and then right back to the truck. Well I went to get in and the truck was LOCKED...It was about 80 degrees out... I had started the car, so my keys were in it... I had locked my house ...so I couldnt get in there...and I had NO reception with my cell....
BY this time Albert was panting pretty badly...I tried and tried to find a way in... BUT couldn't get anything to work....I was a wreck....in a panic....crying.....Sooooooooo...I went and got the cover for the grill slid it in the drivers side window and covered the whole thing, then got a small sledge hammer, and broke it!....IT was so hard to break!....I have bruises all down my arm from trying to push it in the crack, and I bashed my knuckle when I hit the window....BUT Albert is fine, and all's well....EXCEPT for the window!...
The insurance will pay for it after my deductible....
I dont think I have been that upset for many years....I actually was sick for the rest of the day.. from reaction I guess....I'm fine now...and the guy is going to be here Wed. to fix the window....BUT what a day!
I'm hoping today will be better...

Anybody have 4th of July plans?....
We don't as Mike has to work on the 4th....So it will be just another day for me.... <---Me dusting!

Nope his AC broke last summer and its just not worth getting it fixed in an older truck...we really don't need it much around here..except of course that day...But I was only putting a box in the shed ..so If the truck wasn't locked( and Im thinking Albert stepped on the button) it would have been maybe 60-90 secs. before I got back inside. YES. I was beside myself with fear of watching him die... Of course...I did what I had to do so that didn't happen...You should see my forearm from trying to shove it in the crack of the window( before I found it wasn't going to work and I had to break the window)....Its very colorful.

Today...I am waiting for "safelite" to come and fix the window... I am just happy they are coming to me....they will even get the rest of the glass pieces I couldn't get in the cracks of the seat and all.
