Hello all,
Great day today...
Had work in the AM, and had friends over in the afternoon.

I worked till noon, and I ended up driving back to work after driving all the way to the food store, on the way from work....went to get my purse, and realized I had left it at work......
It would normally have been empty after being closed, but one of the techs had extra care for a pet that needed to stay for the weekend, so she was still there and even if she wasn't I have a key so not too big a deal, but the drive was an extra 15 min's. each way, so I was really hopping to get home in time for my company.

BUT...The sun was shining and the sky was blue, and it was even in the 50s...I just cant complain about a day like that in the middle of Nov.

Well I got home with plenty of time for my friends, and we had a nice visit.
We made good old fashioned pot roast, gravy, potatoes, and carrots. Apple pie, and a cake for dessert...
Needless to say I will NOT be getting on the scale tomorrow...

Well I hope you all has had a good day and that the rest of your weekend is good too!...

We went to a spaghetti dinner put on by my dance studio last night.

It has been absolutely gorgeous weather here the past week.

Looks to be fairly nice for the next week too. Can't believe that it is November but I am definitely NOT complaining about the weather

Happy Sunday everyone! It is a nice day here today, so DH is getting out the outdoor Christmas lights. We won't turn them on until Thanksgiving night though! He just told my DD that he thinks he may need to get another decoration for the front lawn...I may have to start calling him Clark Griswald!

Wise guy . With the economy so poor is anyone planning a visit to Disney this year? I had a series of training classes from 11/2 to 11/4 and was able to sneak off to Epcot for the food and wine fest for a day

I've not been to Disney really for about 2 years now other than a trip to MNSSHP once.

I have been "investing" in the cruise lines these days

The kids are getting older and have their own agenda, school etc. so it's just the two of us going now!

You really should give it a try.

Just be careful though because most people when they start cruisin they can't stop

Mike Got a Job!!!...
He will being starting the 29th, at Ascension Health Information Services.

He will be a Solutions Development Senior Analyst, in the clinical department of Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital!

I will still keep my job. I like it too much to not.
We are so happy...
