Thank you Colleen. I had a good and a bit of a stressful day.

I booked my flights for my cruise today.

When I checked the confirmation (and I'm so glad that I looked at it again) I noticed that the departure and arrival cities were reversed

Now I know that I didn't do that on purpose because I've looked at those flights for weeks now. I also booked flights for 5 people. I had huge visions of paying penalties to get the "mistake" corrected.

Luckily the lady I talked to told me that I could just go online and change the flights for free. Wow, what a relief that was. So that problem is all fixed.

When I got home from line dancing class tonight I found out that I won a recliner chair in a contest that a local furniture store was having last week

Wow, I usually never win anything like that. I remember sitting in the chair at the store last week and thinking that it was very comfortable.

Funny thing is that my aunt was in the store when they drew my name, last Thursday ( and they only called me today ) A bit later they pulled another name for a sofa and my aunt won it

She tried to call my mother the other day but she wasn't home and my mom finally talked to her tonight about the same time that I learned that I had won my prize.

Cool. Happy Birthday to me. Now, where will I put the thing

I just wanted to share...I got a nice call at my work! It was Robin!....and she and Rick were going to be driving through Binghamton last night. So we met at a Cracker Barrel (of course) and had a very nice dinner together!...It was so nice to see you again Robin!...Thanks so much for thinking of me.

Well I'm done with my work week. I don't have to go back until tue. I have been outside enjoying my beautiful day we are having...I just love this kind of weather.. More like summer, but I know what will be coming soon...so I'll take it as I can get it.

Well I'm off to church...

Hello My fellow TKers,
As par, it is a very gloomy day for my day off.
So I am going to clean house and work on the newsletter, then maybe catch up on my reading.
I have been trying to read this silly novel that really interests me, but its so long between the times I get to read, that I end up spending a while rereading what I have already read just to remember what was going on...LOL So its gonna take some time to finish.

It was so cool to get to have dinner with you and Rick Friday night!...
I was very impressed that you remembered all my grandkids names..
That's better than I can do most of the time...I still have trouble calling the right one with the right name...It's quite the feat ....especially the twins...

I wasn't able to see my Mom again yesterday, my van is dead , the strut is broken, and not safe to drive..it has over 100,000 miles on it. So its not worth the money to get it fixed.

I will be driving a new (to me) car to work on wed. A 2001 pontiac Grand Am
Mike is going to be picking it up on Tuesday. It has one new fender, so it needs to be painted still, but I can live with that, It also has a new engine in it.
But I am missing my van already

Well I'm off to do some housework...

Betsy, I only had to remember the grandkids names. I didn't have to know how to tell them apart

I only missed poor little Emily.

My recliner did not arrive yet. The truck came and brought the new bed that I bought and the guy says, okay you are all set up and ready to go.

I asked if they had brought my chair and they did not know anything about it.

He says that they will call me right after lunch and probably bring it out to me then.

I will take a picture for sure and post it for you later.
