I have good news and bad news....

The good is I am now getting more hrs. at work...Enough to get health care now!

The bad...I have even less time to Dis.

It has gotten to be beautiful here...the trees all blooming and the flowers too!...

Our Easter was great!...Had a lot of fun!
Other then that is has been work, work, WORK!
Brittany came with me last Sat. and job shadowed Dr. Siefert. She liked it and is thinking of going to school for vet tech.

Still no job for Mike... hopefully they will extend unemployment again...

Well that's my life in a nut shell...

Hi all! Sorry for my maybe-absence? I sent a DIS POP Century link to Kelly, so when she clicked on it, I lost all my 'bookmarks'. I finally told her we were going, so I wanted her to see all the DIS expert pics!

I had missed you and wondered what you had been up to the past few days

Supposed to be fantastic weather here today.

I've got tap class this morning and I just got a call saying they are coming in about 20 minutes to put my new garage door opener in.

So far that is my exciting day.

Anybody else got any exciting plans for the day.

Thanks Robin! Your day was about as exciting as mine! Got a call at 7am to do car-pool - that I DON'T DO on Thurs, because I take Kelly myself. Whatever - done - 1st time those 3 kids got to school EARLY, let alone ON TIME! Then work, and then texting with Matt about my unsold Cubs tics for that day! He went, for free, "thank you Mom", but the Cubs lost. It was sooo funny tho - all these texts from Matt while I was working about the tics, and if he could pay for them/have them, game time, whatever. And, at about 12:10 - when I was officially being UNpaid at work, I got a text, and I said to my boss - watch this - it's gonna ask "Where are the tics?"! Sure enough - word for word! It WAS a beautiful day for a ball game tho! 1st time in my life that 1 of my kids went to a Cubs game before I did that season!

The rest of my day was even MORE boring! DSIL almost rear-ending me just to wave HI!, then she called me, oh, really, just more boring after this...nap...more texts from Matt, watched the game....blah blah blah......

I have those days too when one of my kids will text me about a million times

Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful weather day, wasn't it.

It was over 80 degrees here. I was loving it.

I got the garage door opener all installed and ready to go.

Went to tap class after that.

Went to lunch with Rick at Wendy's.

Purchased myself a nice adirondack style wooden glider rocker for my deck

Sat in it a lot and enjoyed the newness of it.

Messed around with my fish pond a bit.

All in all a pretty good day.

Now to see what today will bring.

I am home alone until tomorrow night because Rick is off to Indiana for some airplane thing.

My mom, Liz and I are going on a road trip tomorrow but today I have no plans yet other than to hit the shower.

So there you have all the details of my incredibly exciting life

Good Morning Threadkillers!

Had an awesome day yesterday! Tinknutt is here for a very quick visit, so we got the family together for fun, food & POKER! I'm the bad player in the family and always lose, but this time....I won the big pot and came out $20 ahead. It's only $20 buy-in, so we don't play high stakes here!

Anyway, back to normal today. Tinknutt is spending the day with her son & DIL and they leave in the am.

Kim & Robin - it sounds like ya'll have been busy - never a dull moment. Robin if you want the 80 degree weather you need to come to Florida. It's gonna be 82 today!

Still no job for Mike... hopefully they will extend unemployment again...

Unemployment goes for 99 weeks. NJ aint too bad either 600 a week & plus 25 a week from the FED. better than nuttin.

Went on a interview wit the hospital right across the street from me, last monday. I THINK it went good. The HR person went in great detail about the benes, how much the job pays, gave me a whole packet to take home & read...etc. From others in the hospital...this is unheard of. Dont know what to think. Waiting for a call (this week supposedly) for a second interview. Also, waitng on a interview for a MAJOR retailer who just opened up a HUGE place about 30 mins from me (they need a IT Manager, I qualify for ALL their requirements) (but that dont mean nuttin anymore). Also if worst comes to worse I have a stinky low pay job in NJ...if I want.
