Robin, did you, by chance, send an Elvis book?
Yes I did send an Elvis book.
Every year here there is a huge used book sale to benefit the hospital and people donate books. My mom had this large Elvis book that she wanted to get rid of.
It wasn't it the greatest shape because it was a soft cover but it was really full of a lot of pictures, all in black and white.
So instead of donating it, I thought that I knew someone else who might get some enjoyment out of it and sent it on to a new home
Went this morning for some blood work (routine) and it make me think of you, Robin. When do you have your surgery? I hope everything is well. I'm thinking of you!
Tom and I are doing a lot of computer research for our trip. We decided to take Houston out and put in Oklahoma City (there's a steakhouse we want to try).
Tonight is our standing Friday night card game.
....what's new with all the rest of the threadkillers?
Hey Ann
My surgery is set for June 23.
I'm doing okay so far except I've got this real problem with my left arm. I've been seeing my chiropractor since we got home from the cruise and there is some improvement but it is very slow going.
I'm not looking forward to the surgery but with any luck I will get thru it and there will be no cancer and I can get on with my life again. This type of tumor can be cancer or not, too hard to tell without taking it out. Even if it is cancer it is usually the type that is cured by removing it. The doctor said if it were cancerous that she would still be sending me to a cancer clinic to make sure there was no more treatment that they thought was necessary.
So I just keep on moving and try not to think about it too much. Lots of dancing to do still since the annual recital is June 12

I've got 6 dances to work on this year, there is plenty to occupy my mind
Enjoy your cards tonight and have fun with your research.
It's going to be lovely warm here for the next few days (almost 80), so I'm going to get outside and get my share of it
