It's foggy here this morning so far and I haven't checked the weather for today.

Liz is leaving to go back this morning and I have a ton of things that I can do, of course.

So I shouldn't have any trouble filling up my day.

We are gonna go pick up my mom and take her to McDonalds for lunch later...

PD - always good to see you around! How's life going for you?

DP - Tom and I met our niece and nephew for lunch at McDonalds today! Tom also left his phone in the car and a good friend of ours was in Jacksonville for about 4 hours today (he was visiting from PA) and we missed him!

Well, we're down to less than a week for the cruise and just over 5 days for Rick & Robin to head down here.....it's getting closer and closer.....

Nick Jonas concert wasn't that bad. :rolleyes1

He reached a level of maturity (voice-wise), so he isn't HURTING himself or screaching for the high notes anymore! :rotfl:

He actually hits them just fine now, and all in all, it wasn't bad for this pushing-50 mom to stand (and sometimes sit) through! :laughing:

Kelly bought a t-shirt for $35! :sad2:

THAT will never be acceptable to me, the OVERCHARGING of cotton tees, especially to these kids. :mad:

Thanks for the well wishes, etc. My cough is better, but I still feel short-of-breath, winded, all the time, like someone is squeezing my chest/lungs. Besides an asthmatic cough, there's also an exercise-induced cough, which I think I get from just walking fast, or climbing stairs. :sad2:

Outside cold air tonight didn't help either. I gotta make some changes in 2010! :rolleyes1

Just got the call that Alex is home after having his gallbladder removed this morning.

He was a bit nauseaus (how in the heck do you spell that word anyway :confused3

) so they gave him drugs and kept him a big longer.

Steph called to say that he was home, doing okay, eating chicken noodle soup and then was going to go to bed and pass out

His surgery was planned.

He had trouble with his gallbladder a few years back and then all was quiet for awhile. Starting having a bit of trouble a couple of months ago and it was decided that it was time to take it out.

He had it done with the laproscope so that makes the recovery much quicker and easier. He has to be off work for a week and then I think no heavy lifting for a bit longer than that. Hard to accomplish that when you are a paramedic. It helps though that his partner has a student right now :thumbsup2

Its my day off and we are waiting for friends to come over and bring us a bunch of cinders for our driveway..We had a couple of days, with rain/ice, then we keep getting a dusting of snow...So its kind of interesting getting down/up it.. :rotfl:
