OIY! I could just scream! Here I am up at midnight because we are within our window to make Palo, Spa and Shore Excursion reservations on the Disney Cruise Line. The web page says we can't because the cruise isn't paid for....it's been paid for about SIX MONTHS and even shows a ZERO balance.

So...we have to wait until their offices open at 8am to speak to someone. Which means we may lose our time slots because others reserved BEFORE us.

I have to say...this really frosts my cupcakes!

Please ignore this rant...it's been fixed on-line (I don't know how) and reservations are made!

I just returned from Daytona. We meet our DD, DSIL and the grandkids for b'fast every couple months.

Robin - the Grand Floridian is MUCH easier when you're going with 3 girls and splitting the tab 3-ways! That's the only way we go!

TW - I'm excited about our Disney trip. The sisters have so much fun together. Looks like you had a good time. I loved the fountain with pumpkins and flowers.

I'm DEAD tired because we were up til 1:30 or so and got back up at 6 to head for Daytona. Nap time!

Yes Ann, I'm sure that is the way to go.

Unfortunately I don't have 2 sisters or even 2 friends to travel with and share the expenses

So the Grand Floridian stay is most likely not in my future.

Unless of course I can win some sort of a lottery

Although I was in the Grand Floridian when we were there after the cruise.

We were waiting for MNNSHP to start and decided to check out the gift shop at the Grand Floridian. I was on that elusive Captain Mickey antenna hunt

The lady in the gift shop at the Grand Floridian was actually quite rude to me

I was just walking thru looking at things and looking for the antenna toppers. I guess she didn't think I looked like I belonged there for some reason because she said to me twice..... Ma'am, are you okay and not very nicely either.

Not.... is there something that I can help you find, said in a nice tone of voice.

I kind of gave her a frowning look and decided that I didn't really want to shop at the Grand Floridian after all

Party went GREAT!

After cleanup etc....Me & james went upstairs to watch a halloween movie (around 10:00) By 10:05 We were both OUT like lights....I didnt get up until 7:00!

We met Kayda yesterday, she's a big old happy sappy girl.
The Foster paperwork will probably take a few days, looks like we're taking her in~

Penny is good about the hair, Betsy's Albert doesn't shed much either.

I would go anywhere except a pet store, if you're really interested - put your name in with a local rescue. We look at Petfinders.com all the time - those are dogs in rescues and fosters looking for homes.

Dang, Robin - that's the PITS about that store lady. I'm afraid I would have complained. It's real nice having Mary & Susan to pal around with....I'm aware how lucky I am.

The one thing about traveling with others, is you have to give up private space. We sisters are constantly in each other's spaces, so you have to be able to take that. With them/us, NOTHING is sacred, towels, hairbrushes, makeup...whatever. We use each other's stuff like it's our own! Being used to that - I would probably not be the person to share a room with

DU - what about a Silky Terrier or a Yorkie? We LOVE our Hollydog. She's a Silky and is a non-shedding breed. I'm glad the party went well.

Makenzie was here all w/e. It funny but ya notice certain characteritics of the kids, and you KNOW where they come from.

I notice alot of my mother in her. Especially when it comes to candy. Both Mom & Makenzie their chocolate. So much so that Mom always had her "hidden" stash of Hershey bars, and Makenzie has a little Hannah Montana "lunch box" with Kits Kats in them...THAT NOBODY DARE OPEN!

Also, neither will ever have their minds changed once they are made up! NEVER, NO HOW, AINT GONNA HAPPEN!

here today, but Im sitting by my nice cozy fire...

Well I am stuck home today....My power steering is on the fritz...Mike thinks it may be the pump....I have to get my DS to come and take a look at it....

With this attitude, she will go far in life....LOL

Albert is a great breed( mini schnauzer)....He doesnt shed, is GREAT with kids(LOVES them)...AND only gets to be about 14 lbs...
He is the smartest dog Ive ever owned, and he Loves to travel and go shopping( most places let me bring him in as long as they dont sell food)
He's always a hit at lowes, Petsmart, and agway...I do loose Mike alot because I have to stop and let people say hello to/pet him...This is where our phones come in handy ....
My only complaint about Albert is he barks at home alot(not when we are out) at birds/and other critters that have the nerve to come into our yard....LOL...Other than that he's PERFECT!

Good luck with the pup shopping, and remember you may want to get one that is already housetrained..., with the new makeover and all...Mistakes happen with puppies...for awhile anyway... Albert DID learn fast...as I said the smartest dog Ive ever owned..and Im a dog person, so I have owned quite a few dogs in my life....

Your cruise plans sound wonderful!...as does your sisters trip....
I liked the GF, when we visited it once, on the way to MK....BUT Mike didnt care for it...and the cost is too much if you cant split it...So I'll have to enjoy it through you guys....I know you are not a picture taker..., BUT have Mary or Susan take a few for us...PLease.
Im sure you all will have a blast...as you always do when you three get together....
