The funny thing about this one is all the others that I didn't pick were the planned shots and that one was a spur-o-the-moment, noticed the view as we were walking out, kinda shot :wizard:

Hello to EVERYONE!

I had a quiet weekend. I made a batch of dinner rolls....a test batch for Thanksgiving. I'm thinking of making a different type of bread this year. Here's a picture of them at their last rising:

I should probably resize them so they're not giant dinner rolls, but I didn't feel like it. These were very buttery and tasty, but I miss the taste of sour cream in my favorite recipe. I might keep working on it.

John's sitting here watching hockey and reading to find some recipies I can cook out of one of his many Rachael Ray cookbooks. If he prepares it (Prep stuff like seasoning) like he does most dinners I start for him, I have *no* problem following directions - for being as creative as I am, being creative while cooking just isn't my fortee~

PD, it was a peaceful as it could possibly be while sitting at a remote control airplane field with noisy little airplanes buzzing around. I tried to tell them to stop wrecking my peace and quiet but they wouldn't listen to me :sad2:

DU, dinner was at approxi 6:30 at a local restaurant with a bunch of the airplane people after we packed up and left the field

I had 4 spinach dip with pita bread wedges, chicken fingers and an apple cobbler for dessert.

I was just coming out of the bathroom in the basement about half an hour ago and saw something strange amongst the wires of Rick's computer.

I wondered what it was, and looked a little closer.

It was a snake :faint:

I'm so glad that Liz was home.

She captured the thing and put it outside.

Now, how the heck did it get into my basement :scared:

I'm gonna be having nightmares about that.
