Hi Threadkillers!
I've been VERY busy this weekend! The Bunco group I belong to has Bunco the 1st Tuesday of every month. Well, I'm the groups leader, so I always call the month's hostess to see if she has any questions or if there's anything I can do....well, she's sick as a DOG! So...guess what I'm doing?! Yep! Hosting Bunco with 2.5 days notice!
I've been cleaning like crazy today. Tomorrow, I'm making a Fresh Orange Cake with an Orange Buttercream frosting. The cake has orange, raisins, dates & pecans. It doesn't have ANY spices and tastes much like a cake would taste a century ago...it's really an amazing cake. One of my favorite cake recipes!
So - after sweeping & mopping, dusting & vaccuming and the bathrooms I made homemade ravioli today! It was stuffed with fresh mozarella, parmesan, proscuitto, sundried tomatoes & basil. The pasta was then served with a drizzle of olive oil, parmesan, pepper & basil. It was awesome! I made extra and froze them. I'll post pics later!
DU - make sure you take care of yourself. You have the same thing that I do with all the women in my family - 50 is the cut-off! The cousins & sisters are doing well (so far), but aunts & grandmothers, not so good. We want you around for a good long time!
TW - I hope Penny has a good time with her puppy friends. I imagine she's lonely...
CADZ - 10K today...right?! My feet hurt just thinking of it. You go, girl!
