I went out with John for awhile today...

his company is closed til the 5th~

We tried Famous Dave's ribs...VERY good food!

We are spending tomorrow with my sister and bro in law~

and then spending the rest of his time home replacing the kitchen sink :faint:

YUK Snow....and I got runnin around to do!

Gonna have a house full of Senior citizens (neighbors) tonight, all of them in Shock that they are STILL kickin in 2009! :scared1:

Crazy neice & her Dh decided to drive here TODAY from their trip in NYC (god forbid they leave yesterday)...sumtin tells me to get Xtra food in...cause they aint gonna make it all the way home today! :confused3

My parents buy gift cards almost exclusively for presents - makes it easier and most the grand kids are old enough (some still get toys). When I was talking to them, they said they purchased over $1000 in gift cards. They have a TON (over 35) grand children! I guess the upside is no wrapping!

I've had a quiet day today. DH purchased a Vera Bradley bag for me at Christmas and I put it in to be monogrammed and returned a few things that didn't fit (he's wearing his "love goggles" again - because he bought clothes that were too small).

Anyway, off to make pasta for dinner.....

Alls well with my Mom ..Thank God!
As for the paper...I bought a 400 Sq. Ft. roll...and I still have some left... :thumbsup2

Happy New Year TKErs! I am having my family over for New Years Eve. Just having snacking foods and desserts. Cheese and fruit platter, swedish meatballs, chicken tenders, pigs in a blanket, lots of desserts. It's snowing here and is supposed to snow all day but taper off around 4 or 5. Family is coming at 7:30 so hopefully the roads will be clear by then.

Yup we got snow again too :headache:

Started last night and Liz had to drive home in it. Took her over 2 hours to make a one hour trip. Kept me awake waiting for her, of course. :surfweb:

Lots of travel and good times with friends.

It's just been the last few months where it's started to fall apart a bit.

Hubby and BIL are makin Pork loin wrapped in bacon stuffed w sausage, mash taters and mussels. Somebody else is bringin spinach sumtin.

School starts back up in two weeks, I'm registering for classes the 14th of Jan.
