Well....i am about tuckered out....

I had a few sugestions on that thread.....some worked...some didn't....

no chew cans....so i used plasic yogurt containers...

no dried peas...so i used frozen peas...
BUT...they thawed....so i added ice cubes...BUT...they melted...so i had to change...

Then...grandkids came over...we shared some of the instruments...gave one the drum with the foot pedal....another the cymbal with the foot pedal...and another a NOEL doorhanger with jingle bells...plus found some kazoos...

that was OK for awhile...but then thre was an idea to switch....

my belt was too big for them...the garter/headband with the tambourine was too heavy...

so...they banged on the casio keyboard for a whle...

then...the conspiracy!

using the home phone...they called the cel phone in my sleeveless pin vest side pocket and messed me all up...

their giggling got them busted....

other than those minor mishaps...it went pretty well...

I can't answer ALL those questions but, the Meet was fun!!! It went by sooo fast tho. LOTS of new faces and, DIS friends I hadn't met in person yet. About 35 total, I heard. There may have been about 10 pizzas. Many of us took some home, too!

And yes, I knew the Cubs won!!! They're 10-6 now, I believe. I was able to listen to/watch most of the game. Before the game, I heard they were tied for 1st. Haven't checked on that tho.

So, what did Google turn up for you?!

i put in:

UFO frequent flyer miles

i click

google says "do you mean...."

and gives me frequent flyer miles for conventional airlines.....

COOL! about the DIS meet....and the Cubs....

KimRaye..........I really wanted to come to that DISmeet but being on a Friday night and I would have had to drive I think about 6 hours, I had to pass this time. I hope that I can come to the next one you guys have there. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Thursday my husband was looking at a machinery sales flyer and said oh there is a machine in Chicago. I said can we go look at it tomorrow..........there is a DISmeet in Chicago Didn't happen though

The sun is shining, I have tons of work to do, so everybody have a great day.
