We have soccer on, John is home early but sleeping on the couch.

We watched Semi Pro with Wil Farrell. It's ok...not as funny as we expected~

I have a new coastal living magazine to peruse and am working on the guy's father's day gifts...I found tv trays that I can customize with my own photos. They are a nice dark cherry wood color and were only $20 each!

instead of picking the size PB gives you, type 800 in the first box and the resize should work without shutting you down. It does the same thing to me, it's a glitch in their editing system

We've been having some pretty intense storms tonight.

Lots of thunder, lightening, large hail and heavy rains.

I was at dance rehearsal and the power went out for about 1/2 hour or so.

Morning all.

Hot, steamy, stormy weather around the past couple of days.

I think today is expected to be a bit cooler.

I have to take the kitten to the vet this morning and then MORE dance practice later this afternoon.

I feel totally unprepared for the recital this year but it's weird because I do know most of the dances

I have a feeling that any day now our thread is going to be closed since it is getting so long now.

If that happens I guess someone will just have to open another one for us.

Whatever you are up to today, have a good one.

Today Mika has another appt and then I get to wait for the dryer repair guy...he'll be here anywhere from 1 to 5 and then tonight John and I have to go clean out our storage unit. It had all my mil's kayrap in it and airconditioners. Only the biggest AC unit and a couple little boxes are left but it's gonna he HOT getting that stuff outta there.

Hi Sewer! I have at least one fountain Diet Coke from McDonalds EVERY day. I usually eat there once a week. I know I shouldn't, but I just love it.

TW - it sounds like you had a lot of work ahead of you today. I scrubbed the floors and vacuumed - looks good! How did the storage cleaning go? I like your pics. Some of them are really good. I especially like the angle of the juke box options.

DU - did you get a sunburn at the pool today?

We had our monthly dinner with our friends, but didn't swim - we had quite a thunderstorm here this afternoon. I made and froze all the pot-stickers last night and I wanted to test them after they were frozen....so I tried them on our lawn guy. He liked them a lot. I also tried one and it was pretty good. I also "tweaked" the sauce and it was good before, but it's REALLY good now!

the fish, my mandatory fries and a water is my way of pretending it's healthy~

Dad already went out and bought a new dryer, it'll be here thursday. The repair woulda been almost as much as the new one.

Mika had her appt. She's still doing well according to the doc. Her weight has stabilized and she has a month before I have to take her back again~

Even nicer when the Caretakers shows up...and I say "They Are ALLLLLLLLLLLLL YOURS"...and run like fury out the door! Even told james every man for himself!
He founf Mickey Shaped hamburgers today in Shop-rite. Had them & hot dogs barbqued tonught. They werent bad. I usuaslly dont like packaged hamburgers, prefer my own.

We (old timers) were noticing all the new neighbors...untill the Property manhager came by & threw hem all out!!!! Seems we had Pool Hoppers here today!

I love to have an occasional Big Mac too.

I went outside this morning and discovered that my car has some lovely dents in it from the hail storm that we had yesterday.

Now to decide whether to call the insurance company or just take care of it ourselves. The car is in pretty nice condition and I'd sort of not like to have all those dents (at least 8 fairly large ones) in it.
