I've attached two pictures of the appetizer buffet for my nieces graduation after it was set up. I don't suppose you would be willing to post them on-line? The reception was at Mary's library, so this is the front desk. The new library is currently under construction.



Anyway one is of the entire buffet and the other is the dessert tray - which I thought was particularly pretty...and delicious!

Hi Everyone!

Robin - thanks for posting the pics for me - it was a fun night! *sigh* I can't believe SWHNN's DD is a graduate!

SWHNN is taking her on a cruise - just the two of them - for her graduation gift. She also has enough scholarships to complete her associates degree. Then she has some other scholarship for a state college here for the rest.

DU, Sewer & PD - Ya'll's vacations are coming up quick! I know you'll have a good time. DalPal's is coming soon, too!

Tomorrow, DH is taking the day off and we're going to St. Augustine for the day and have lunch at Columbia House. We've not been there for a while and are looking forward to it...a little taste of our Christmas week, since it will be in St. Aug!

Today is dog grooming day and I'm changing the beds (she sleeps on the bed) and getting the bathrooms done. With luck, I'll get the appliances cleaned and a few other bits around the house....it is such a mess.

All your ticker talk reminded me that I had to put in our Cape Cod ticker. The doctor gave my daughter the ok to play in the sand and the ocean when we go. She's not ready yet, but will be by the end of the month! We are letting each of the girls bring a friend this year...cuts down on petty arguments! My oldest decided she didn't want to invite anyone, because she just wants to sit on the beach and read. She doesn't want to entertain! Cape Cod here we come!

25 pounds...Ok I will now roll out of work , go home, hit the dry cleaners up, go to the supermarket, set mom up for the day...and smack james around! because I KNOW HE DID SOMETHING HE SHOULDNT HAVE....I dont know what it is BUT I know he did it!

If that was one of my DGDs..the one that didnt want to bring a friend, would be buggin me the whole time, because she had nothing to do, and nobody to hang with....because the others have left her out....

Well Im going to finally go see my Mom today...I havent gone since last week, befor I got sick...I just didnt want to spred my germs around an old folks home...But I think Im safe now....So I think I'll go and get her and take her to the garden store with me...She use to love looking at all the pretty flowers.... ..and then maybe some ice cream....

Then I have to beat feet home and get some lawn mowed...as I didnt get to it yesterday, and its geting long again...ALREADY!

I have also started packing the boxes I'll be mailing to the resort...
It wont be long now...
I HAVE to get some time to update my report too.... ...It all seems to pile up on you when you least expect it!....

BUT I am getting as excited as the DGGs are... ...This should be an extra fun trip!ixiedust:...If all goes according to plan...

Well..,shoot...Now that Ive looked at the weather for today...I still may not get the lawn mowed..we are suppose to get ran later today...I guess I should have done it yesterday as was the orignal plan...Oh well...Live and learn

Time is just flying! I picked up the dog from the groomers and made my next appt and the groomer wished me a Happy 4th of July (the appt is 7/22). I couldn't believe that the 4th of July is a month away!

Headed for a nap...it's Bunco night tonight!

I hope you day went well and you were able to mow the lawn before the rain. We had about 10 minutes of hail on Sunday - about the size of a penny and it turned the lawn almost (but not quite) white. It was weird considering it was 80º outside!

Morning All~
been crazy busy around here with shopping & meetings & planning for 36 of us to hit Rome in 11 days.....Well we leave in 11 days, but don't reach Rome for 12 - the tour company really got us some GREEEEAAAAT flights & even better layovers....ugggghhhhh but i guess it is what it is & we have to make an adventure of the journey there.....

Had our last meeting with the students & chaperones last night - still have some shopping to do...but just little stuff; been up since 1:45 this a.m. working on final documents to send back to the tour company.

Thats the way it was for me last year, when we went in Sept...I couldnt wait to go, but didnt want the summer to go by to fast....It was crazy!

Im sure we will have a great time, even tho we have to budget alot more this trip..(only 6 sitdown rests. ADRs, and a couple are just for dessert)..
Im planning on breakfasts in the room...

P&P for a fantastic trip in Italy to you...although Im sure you wont need them....

Betsy, I did manage to finally get some sleep and I'm just getting up now. I fell asleep last night and something woke me up about 1/2 hr later. It was just enough sleep to take the edge off and then I couldnt' go back to sleep again

So I got up and checked the DISboards and played a computer game for a bit and then finally around 3:30 or so I went back to bed.

Betsy, I tend to think like Julia too.... one month from today or one week from today.......

I'm looking forward to September again this year but I too don't want the summer to go by too fast. Heck it's just starting to feel like summer MIGHT actually come this year

Brenda sounds like you are going to have a wonderful trip to Italy. Can't wait to hear all about it and see your pictures.
