A phantom poster? It was funny though! So as the lawyer (me) tries to get post 3000 someone named Legalsea comes on and swipes it! Maybe this is a message from above that I should start working if I want to have enough $$$$ for our summer vacation at the Sea!

So far...so good with this Home Attendant. She wants me to leave her a list of things to do....she said she will vacum, wash windows, steam the rugs....

She will be soooooooooooooorrrrry!

Parents are getting use to her. But try to tell them that she is HERE to HELP them...make lunch, help Mom with grooming...etc!!! OIY!

I stepped into the proverbial poo lately!

My 49.00 Sirius Radio that I had for 11 months just stopped working! It was still under warranty. So they sent me a "refurbished" 49.00 radio.
I was a bit peeved...but for 49.00 I wasnt gonna argue the point (i think I should have recieved a new one).
Anyhooooooooo hooked that up...and THAT didnt work right either...was on the phone with their Tech Support for 1 1/2 hours! try this , try that...etc. Finally he gave up confused3 I do get that a lot)

Sooooooooo again they sent me a new radio....BUT this time its the $299 Stilleto portable (half radio/half Ipod like) I called to make sure they didnt make a mistake....They told me to ENJOY IT!!!!

...and sooooooooooo I will!

Hello and good day all, at least what is left of it.

I spent most of the day running around and getting things done before we go away for the weekend.

I got a call from Alex around 3:30 telling me that he'd been having chest pains for the past hour and a half.

I took him into the ER and by the time he was seen they had pretty much disappeared

They did some tests though and couldnt' really find anything major, although they would not rule out anything at the time.

So hopefully the pain stays away and he doesn't have a repeat.

Well, I will be off early in the morning for the weekend. Plan to be back at some point on Monday.

Ottawa is a good 8 hour drive from here with a car.

With the truck pulling the trailer it will probably take a bit longer..

WDW was wonderful, as always. Will I every stop crying at Wishes? Finding Nemo on stage was excellent, Everest (I am not a coaster rider) was scary... Bean, my 6 year-old niece and I road in the front car, as we pulled into the station she said "Aunt Michelle, I DO NOT want to ride that one again." But she was so proud and I got her a little Yeti pin for her lanyard - of course, she wanted to know why he was so cute on the pin.
Ice cream sundaes at Beaches and Cream, Fish and Chips at the Rose and Crown, Electric Water Parade from the beach at the Wilderness Lodge, Dole Whips, 8.7 miles walking per day, twenty buses, eight monorail rides, seven ferry rides... shesh.. I need a vacation!:

I DO NOT understand the Stride gum commercial with the ram

I dont understand ANY commercial any more....ME NEED good old fashion Jingles!

BUT i do LOVE the commerical with all the factory workers dressed in white overalls, up in the Clouds making it rain, with the HUGE water cans!!!
In HD with 5.1 DTS surround sound it is Beautiful to watch & hear. Just dont ask me what the commercial is for!

I hope everyone is doing well. I'll try to catch up on everyone's lives over the next few days.

Wow that was one expensive car repair...
I hope he gets a GREAT job, as he going to be at it for quite awhile to pay that off....
I loved Italy...But we lived in San Vito for 2 years, just 15 mins.from the US base...I DID get to see alittle of Rome, and Naples, But thats it..other then that I loved seeing the little towns, and all the vinyards, and it was really fun getting to know the locals!...and going to the open air markets every day!

We leave for Italy on 6/16 - go to Rome for 4 days....Will meet up with Aisling's oldest (Chad) for dinner one night - he will be there for a month or 6 wks - on a study program...then we go on to Assisi - (St. Francis' Bascila) - up to Siena - Florence - Pisa & then to Venice....get back late the 27th.

Betsy how nice to live there....i could SOOOO see myself living there....it is such a gorgeous country!!!

this wkend is DS' 1st prom - picked up his tux the other day AND even remembered to order a corsage...

don't know if we'll make it to see Prince Caspian or not...along with Prom; DS has a huge video project for one of his classes - so he plans to be gone most of Sunday working on that....

I need to go back to San Jose tomorrow to pick up a jacket i bought for alumni dinner/dance next Sat in Iowa...flying there for the long wkend...but leaving at midnight next friday night - & leave there tues am at 5 a.m. - one quick trip for sure!

I hafta go register for school first then we *were* gonna go to the beach/boardwalk. One of John's best buds lives down that way, I told him we really should go so we can at least see Matt and his family~
