Didja get to take that walk by yourself?

My favorite mornings are the ones with just me, my coffee and my camera at Disney....The Grand Flordian walks are currently at the top of my list~

DH went with me on that walk.
But usually it is just me. I do the walk exactly as you do, coffee and camera at Disney. Sigh!

Love those GF pics. Somewhere I have pics I took from the monorail or ferry when they were building the GF. SOmeday I wil find them and scan them to put them here on the DIS! I think people would like to see them.

Going with DH is nice too...the family and I usually takes walks around resorts we have character meals at. This family photo is on the dock at GF:

Hiya Threadkillers!

I hope everyone is having a good day.

DU - I lived in Italy (actually Sicily) from '93 to the end of 96. DH and I had a WONDERFUL time there. Sicily looks EXACTLY like the Godfather movies - very earthy and time stopped there.

TW - that's a cool new t-shirt design. It's my favorite of all your work so far. I'm so excited about my Disney week at the GF with the sisters this year.

Robin - I like your story - it's nice that it's come full circle and it was a very nice thing for you to do. If that was my daughter she'd have a heap of trouble coming her way.

Hi PD! I like the mornings with DH when we're at Disney. When I'm with the sisters....we usually stayed up too late the night before to do early morning walks - we're busy hustling out the door to get back at the parks!

Well, I did my grocery shopping. Here's the weeks menu:

Monday - Cheese tortelini in a cream tomato sauce with organic peas (in the sauce) and a green salad with a basalmic vinegarette

Tuesday - Marinated grilled flank steak with potato salad and tomato slices (marinated in a pineapple, garlic, sesame & soy mixture)

Wednesday - Chicken, Spinach & pasta baked in a garlic cheese sauce

Thursday - Vegetarian Fried Rice.

Friday- Herb rubbed grilled chicken breasts served with a white BBQ sauce, potato salad & green beans (spicy herbs, cool ranch-like BBQ sauce)

For dessert - I'm only making one - a (scratch) Vanilla Bundt Cake. It'll last most of the week and will be good in lunches.

I have the flank steak marinating and I'm about to make potato salad. No floors and bathrooms today (my regular Monday chores) my hips are killing me!

Sitting here at work waiting for the phone too ring.

There were accidents all over tonight, I got to work late. Unfortunately one of those accidents was my friend Bob. I passed right by!

His DD called me to see if I heard from him! He called his house from his cell about 7:00pm saying that he was in a accident, he is ok just banged up. He hydroplaned into a median, and that he is being towed back to home. (this should have been no more than a hour)

It is now 9:15 and no one has heard from him. I called the State Police and they couldnt give me specifics, but they did tell me that there were no seriously wounded people tonight on Rt 80.
I also KNOW that Bob always keeps his cell phone in the car...so if its being towed...thats where it is!

If he is OK I will kill him!

DU, I hope Bob is doing okay and just hasn't been able to call because his phone is inside his being towed car.

he serpetined across rt 80, went into a ditch ...then out of the ditch, across rt 80, and into another ditch!!!!!!
Thanbkfully he missed the side of the mountain by about 3 inches.
