The snowing and blowing stopped here a couple hours ago.

I have some of the most amazing snow "sculptures" in my backyard

They have not come to plow out our road yet so the intersection is pretty thick with snow.

I just saw an owl in my backyard.

That is something I've never seen around here before.

I flipped the outside light on to look at the snow and this thing swooped down in the yard. At first I thought it might be the hawk/falcon that I see occasionally but then I saw that it was an owl

Neat.

Time change weekend here.

That means it will stay light an hour longer at night

The sun is out, and gads is it bright with all of the snow. I put a lounge chair out in the driveway, and have the grill out! I'm attempting to trick myself into believing spring is just 10 days away.

i haven't done that yet...i started James Patteron's new book (7th Heaven) last night, & just finished it awhile ago....took a shower doing laundry now....and dis'ing. will change clocks later - since the importants ones (cell & computer do that automatically)...

There's a new Marvel superhero type movie coming that DH wants to see...Ironman.

We went to our neighbor's 50th b'day party last night...

and I am back in full homework mode and ready to get back to classes tomorrow....

John has 3 days of physical therapy and a doctor's appt in there as well...

I forsee a busy week ahead

Got to talk to a couple of people I haven't seen in quite some time.

Whew! What a week....

1st an ice storm on Tuesday....then kay-rap weather on Friday...the day I took PA & her Mom to Marienville, PA to a funeral home....her Mom's 78 year old niece died...

got back in time to hunker down for the latest blast of winter....

13 inches by Saturday morning....I just get done snowblowing and the 2nd front exploded through.....dumping another 8 inches on us....

me & my snowblower are resting now....

the streets are a mess...so i snowblowed the parking areas....

my neighbors must love me....

as a reward....I think I'll take tomorrow off!

Oh1 The weather was sooooooooooooooo bad that WS had to reschedule her youngests birthday party....until next Sunday....

I do have to say though....WS made up for the postponement....she's such a great Mom!



PSSST! Hey Lurkers! If any of you sit on a whoopee cushion....it wasn't me! I was outside all day! REALLY!
