Hey thread killers. I missed the question, so I'm not prepared with an answer. But whenever I'm in doubt, I usually say "42."
:lmao:

Cally -
We buy and manage computers/software for customers who don't want to pay full time employees to run their computers/software.
Does that help?
Yes, thank you!!

Yes, that about sums it up on the first point. I think everyone, maybe not, understands that big companies don't just have one computer to run their software. We call it a "landscape" - meaning all the computers with their bits and pieces that work together to run the software the companies need. More often than not a computer has a certain function - sort of like if you have (4) computers at home, one for all your files, one just for DISing, etc. Each one would have it's own purpose but in order for you to do everything you want you need all of them.

One the second point, close - I am that person but only for our business unit. The company is made up of many business units.

Did I make it worse? The funny thing is if you asked me to make it more technical I could do that easily... maybe I don't speaka English no good!
Okay, confused again. :rotfl2:

That helped me, thank you~

So how was that Blue Ray movie Cally, did you two watch it yet???

Aisling was here for a visit today She and I were talking scrapbooking and visited my Mom for a bit~

I got a new magazine from my Mom, The Laughing Place edition of the 25th anniversary of Epcot...I'm gonna read that tonight and get back on the homework wagon tomorrow. I've got an economics test to prepare for for Monday~

To me he was the Greatest president, pulled this country through the Great Depression and WWII. Just the relationship alone between him and Churchill during WWII is fascinating. Those two saved the world. He started many of the programs we have today, Social security, 40 hour work week...etc He also was elected 4 times. He passed away in his 4th Term. Througout his Presidency he was know for his Humor and humanity, all while suffering greatly from Polio. He was in constant pain, and crippled and only those close to him knew it. It was very rare that a pic was taken of him in a wheelchair.

Just a very interesting man. I read many books about him and saw every movie ever made about him.:thumbsup2

..Oh yeah, in the play Annie, he tought Annie the song 'Tommorrow":lmao: :lmao:
Thanks for that info.. I didn't know about the 40 hr week. :thumbsup2 I could learn a lot from you and the dis!!

:lmao:

Yesterday's question: Jesus Christ, but as for a regular, mortal person: Kasey Kahne :lovestruc

Today's question: I plead the 5th on the grounds I may incriminate myself.

Ahh... yes, the answer to the Ultimate Question. ;) Fits everything, I agree.

Yesterday's question was: if you could have dinner with anyone living or dead who would it be?
Today's question is: if you were invisible, where would you go?

Good Morning TKers,

My Dad...He died in 89....for the dead...

Good Morning...

Well almost afternoon now.

It's sunny but chilly, 49 degrees.

DeV woke up with a temp this morning ranging from 101 to 102. Don't have any motrin so we gave him some aspirin. Had to crush it~ he's not so good with swallowing pills.

He's resting in bed watching Pokemon right now. He's suppose to go back to school tomorrow but most likely will miss it. :sad2:

Hey!! They moved the smilies again. :artist:

We're babysitting baby Kal today at noon to 4pm. :bitelip:

:teeth:

YEP~ we love WAL-MART around here :rotfl2:

Have a good day all~

Cally, do NOT give your son aspirin with a fever!!!!!!!

Very, very bad for children...go get some tylenol or children's advil please!

We haven't watched it yet. No movies yet....

Netflix offers Blue Ray discs in their service...we haven't "rented" a movie since Kiminy turned us on to netflix a few years ago. We do the 3 movies at a time plan.

Thanks for the heads up Colleen!!! I did learn that in nursing school. It can lead to Reyes Syndrome but from what I learned once they reached a certain age and weight it was okay.

We did plan to switch him to Motrin in 6hrs if his fever does not break but it seems to have broke and he's right at 99 now.

I know it will spike back up though... it usually does.

Great looking out, I know I can depend on you guys :goodvibes
