We finally got a Blu-Ray!!! Just been too busy lately to watch movies Something to do with a job or something

Ahhh, the stories I could tell you about my new job. I will save it for a rainy day though.

Next week I start going to work from 3pm - 11pm. I guess they don't need me for the weekends anymore. We plan on putting the boys in the after school program because Roger does not get off until 5:30pm.

That is the roughest shift! Of all the waky shifts I have worked over the years....2nd shift is NOT FOR ME! Too much to be missed. The boys will be fine.

So what's the opposite of "mama's boy" Cuz that's what I am...

Now that I'm working the boys have just been hanging out with Daddy. I don't know if that's good or bad because they like to spend money.

I really want to stay in the CR, and james wants the Boardwalk...so I let him "win" this time....gonna save the CR w/MK view for my 50th (in 31 years)

Hi Brenda! It's been cold and rainy here as well. Ugh this morning when I left it was raining so hard. I white knuckled it all the way to work. I have to drive on I-75 all the way to work (35miles).

I hate those darn big trucks splashing water on my windsheild!

It was a woods view room. The transportation can be spotty, we never had a problem with the ferries, but the bus to DTD was terrible! We chose BC this year because we love EPCOT, and Boardwalk which are both in walking distance.

I was thinkin my last time down there I'd Love to stay at or near the boardwalk....it's a great area, access to Epcot is incredible, it's even got a boat to MGM...sorry, DHS, doesn't it?

The pools and the decor are pretty cool too~

If you don't get to stay at the boardwalk..maybe the swan or dolphin. Rose can get a discount with her nurse license. Have you stayed at either one yet?

I really wasn't that impressed with the Dolphin. I was really looking forward to the heavenly beds but they weren't so heavenly. It seems like they just threw a down comfortor on the bed and a few extra pillows.

WOW...That many years???...You should be able to save enough for the best suite in the whole resort....LOL

Hi again, John and me went to the farm market for some fish, produce and baked goods.

We got our share of snow, it's rainy/drizzly, but warm enough where we have no ice - yet.

Didjuknow....MGM studios was so called because of Disney's relationship with MGM many years ago. MGM is no longer affilitated with Disney, and haven't been for many many years...it was bound to happen, eventually.

I didn't know that! Thanks for the info. Any Disney info is good info to have (that kind of didnt make sense )

Bad weather gave me a bad migraine. Until very recent studies by the doctors at Mayo, weather related headaches had always been attributed to "sinus" problems. Recent studies show that people with barometer heads who experience headaches during changing weather patterns actually suffer from migraines. Currently we do not know why.

The snow started here around 5:00 am. I went into work at 7:00AMand worked until 5:00PM. I had some pretty complicated stuff that had to be done today, but I didn't know which way we were going until after my client's meeting ended at 10:15 last night so couldn't do any advance preparation. Luckily I seem to do my best work under pressure! I was also lucky that everyone else in the world seemed to take the day off, so it was quiet and peaceful for me to get the work done. The snow has been constant but slow, we've only got about 6 inches right now. That's not much over the course of 15 hours, so the highway departments have had a pretty good handle on keeping things passable.

However....its a good thing....da mudda is acting up with her leg!!!!

Because of swellin, which causes leasions(yuk), that have to be wrapped (i forget the technical medical term)...but she keeps on taking the wrap off. So what should have been a 2 week event...is now into a month long nightmare!!!!!

It's still snowing here, there are maybe 8 inches now. DDs 12 & 14 and I just came in from a big snowball fight. It was so much fun! I love being outside at night when it is snowing. Everything is hushed and peaceful! Love it! Now we're having hot cocoa. I love snowy nights as long as everyone is home safe and sound.

DU~ Roger is a flyer on a J-Star airplane. It is a radar plane that flys over Iraq and keeps an eye on all the ground troups (marines and army) and notifies them of any danger approaching. The ground troups can also notify the plane for help. (see how all branches work together yet there is a big rivarly between them ) The plane is about 32,000 to 35,000 feet high so in undectectable by any ground forces. They are called the "Eyes in the sky"

He is in charge of all the computers on board. He turns on the plane (pre-flights checks) and if any computers crash or malfunction he is the go to guy to get them fixed and running again. Also if there is an emergency on the plane he is the go to guy.

When there is no war going on they basically just train and keep current with the technology. He also is an instructor for new flyers. And there is always new flyers because many people realize once they get in this is not what they want to do. I know weird, huh

Did I mention since he is an instructor he also does flight checks on the flyers to keep them up date and current.

I'm so proud of him.

I think that what Roger does is much more impressive than what I do! I've always thought that nursing is one of the most impressive jobs too. I couls never do that. I was a candy striper for a couple of years. After my first 4 month stint on the geriatric ward I asked to be switched to the switchboard! (SOrry DU I can't take care of your parents, but I'll be happy to answer your phone for you!)
