My DM, use to order all kinds of silly stuff(ie: a life time supply of vitamins, mags, lightbulbs)..Everytime someone called her on the phone, she would order whatever they wanted her to...(Im sure her name had sucker, stamped on it with the telemarketers)...But Id call and tell them she wasnt in her right mind...and they would credit her back the money..and sometimes just tell me to keep the stuff....After a while I just made it so she couldnt use the phone...Then we had her move in with us...Now she doesnt know how to use the phone...She has forgotten how...which is sad...BUT alot safer...

We were quite lucky when we started out.

We had enough money that we could put a downpayment on a small house. We had a lot of hand-me-down furniture in it and used appliances but it was good.

We both had jobs even though there were a few times when Rick got laid off.

Go to Detroit, turn left and keep right on driving until the I-75 splits into the Florida Turnpike.

University of Phoenix - distance learning model for my MBA. They are accredited and well thought of in the Business World, including my company. So the instructor sends a little blurb reminding us of the difference between Accelerated and Abreiviated - UoP is an accelerated program. What does this mean to me you might ask? It means that they cram a standard 15 week curiculum into 6! Attendance and participation required at least 4 out of 7 days in the week. So, what's my first thought? How am I going to fit school in around my Disney Trips? Gotta have priorities.

I had a bout of disillusionment last night when I found out that some DIS posters go elsewhere and bash other DIS posters.

Oh, and Robin - we expect you to catch up with the question of the day!

I had a bout of disillusionment last night when I found out that some DIS posters go elsewhere and bash other DIS posters.

Crazy aint it. I was a topic at the beginning of the year cause I had lots of garbage in my sig (for the new year). 2 or 3 people (i dunno who they even are) said they HATE me!

Today's Question: If you could un-invent one thing, what would it be?

4 Wheel Drive. Because people who have it...INSIST they can drive 70 MPH on highways in icy condition's. Very much a false sense of Security!

I was all dug out before I left for work, but it just kept up all day! When I was driving home the sky started to clear, but by time I got off the freeway it started up again. A few years ago we had several storms that dropped a lot of snow to the point I had no place to put it. Well... one day we had yet another storm, and I just couldn't stand it anymore, so rather that go home I just drove to the airport, and got on a plane to Tampa. For the life of me I'll never understang why my grand parents decided northeast Ohio was a grest place to settle down.
