Hey ya Kim,
You are right.
Busy day for me yesterday...Feeding, fishing, and fun...with the DGKs...Its was very rainny yesterday ...but they got out there to fish in between the storms....but WOW last night it rained buckets.....

No plans for me today...I have a birthday present to deliver to my DGF, and then this evening we are doing our monthly dinner out with my DB&SIL(Mikes twin and wife)....It is also their(DH and DBILs) Birthday on the 28th so this is also kind of a birthday dinner for them.

Well the sun looks like its trying to come out.....If it does I think Ill work in my gardens today...after all that rain the weeds should pull really easily ..

Working Sunday's not too bad...

I consider it my Monday and it's a short day compared to all the others. (Only 11 to 5.)

I sooo don't miss all the hectic days of my kids youth. It was fun to go thru once~

We're still having crappy weather...

Rained like crazy this morning, now it's just wet and grey.

The grass looks nice and green tho

My FIL is back from FL

He likes to be my gardener...he started the veggie garden already. We have red leaf romaine lettuce and onion sets in so far. He'll plant radish, tomatoes and pepper plants when the lettuce is done. Lettuce is a cold weather crop, it grows best here in March and April but by May we gotta switch it up to something else.

I'm running late as usual...

Gotta head for the shower. I've adopted hubby's saying tho...I'd have to be trying to be on time to actually be considered late

besides, he puts in so much time fishing lately (a very good thing) that he'll be takin as long as you to get the yard good for the summer.

Bad news on the dress front...

We only have the white dresses in your size. As tiny as you are now our size runs are smaller. I'll still be working on internet access to our products, as we get the summer stuff in I'll keep my eye open for more for you to look at.

I picked out my new unipod (my name for a one legged tripod ) I don't know it's proper name.

I put my camera on it today to give it a test drive and it was quite comfortable.

Tomorrow, I'll get those dern batteries and actually use my new toy

Thanks for trying with the dresses....Im going to a shop that my DGF thinks will have lots tomorrow..we will see ....

I talked to my DDIL and she is going to give me a few of some of the plants she is starting...So I just may get a garden in , in time.....I KNOW I dont want to plant as many tomato plants as I did last year ..we had so many tomatoes that I was begging people to take some...I still have a bag and a half left.... ..
She is giving me melon, tomatoes, and cukes..Not a bad start

Do you have a Talbots near you? My mother in law gets the cutest clothes in there, last time I was in there our local store had a lot of skirts but a few really dresses too. Worth a look if you do have on near you! Good luck with your search,...I never find what I think I want and end up angry and quit and then when I've given up,....the perfect thing falls at my feet!

No. No Talbots up north here.....but Im going to check out a store that is close to a Talbots...Its called Boscovs...I was told they had lots there...

I DID take in a sundress I bought last year..Its from Disneystore...It turned out ok...seeing as I am not the best at sewing...

Well, today is my 14th anniversary. Save any Congrats, we've been separated since June. But, he 'surprised' me with flowers after work today. Actually, I surprised him surprising me, and then, in true form......we got into an argument. It was a monetary thing, which I resolved, but he's still not happy. Tough. I haven't been happy for years myself. He should get used to it, imo. Men can be such whiny babies. Suck it up, I say!

Sorry, I'm just clearing my head.

Betsy, how did dress shopping go?

Cally, we went from the 70s last week to an overnight freeze warning tonight. Crazy weather!

oooh, i am off to wdw tomorrow w/ DD's academic team for the state competition. we are staying at the contemporary and head home sunday! yippee!! wish us luck!

Shopping went well...no dresses ( ) but I did find some capris I liked...They are slimmer around the leg below the knee...I dont like the ones that are really loose around the leg..I think they just look like pants that are too short for you...( Im picky with clothes )..
and I bought a bathing suit that I really liked until I got it home and put it on to show DH....the back of it keeps rolling down....Needless to say ...Its going back ..
Its so frustrating..I had all the summer clothes Id need for years...Now I have to rebuy everything...But Im really not complaining.... ...REALLY

This thread IS quiet without Robin.......Hope she having a blast...Im sure she is...

Hi everyone!

Back from California! Ruthie is SO Cute! She coo's and smiles at you. Naturally, when I hold her - she cries! *sigh* I have that affect on babies and I LOVE to hold them. Jakob has really grown and he's a little heart breaker with his big brown eyes.

Tom and I got back around 1am on Tuesday and went to work. Today was a staff meeting - so we're just getting caught up!

Friday, as you know, is sister's weekend in Disney! Can't wait!

Kim - I'm glad everything is okay with the accident! Even when they're minor, it's scary!

Robin - we missed Rick. We were too busy kissing those grand kids to look for him!

TW & DalPal - ya'll shopping for dresses? I like the dresses....they'd look good on tinknutt. I don't wear halters - I lack the necessary *ahem* equipment to make them look good!

Tinknutt - thanks for taking care of Holly! You spoiled her! I do appreciate you giving her a bath!

SWHNN - it was great chatting with you today. I'm jealous you're in WDW today!

Cally - sounds like you're doing well in school! Congrats on the pregnancy!

SMedford - I like the Red Socks. Mostly for sentimental reasons - my mother was a HUGE Red Socks fan. She would have loved that they won the series. I also love Talbots, but my check book loves Wal-Mart!
