Kim - June IS the middle of summer! It's going to be 75 today, 75 tomorrow, 80 Thursday, 81 Friday and in the 80's Sat & Sun. However, I GUARANTEE it...when the sister's go down to WDW next weekend - it will be cold!

Brittany is sick, poor thing. winter has finally showed up around here. Been freezing for a while now, even saw a sprinkling of snow this morning.

My FIL has been in Melbourne, Florida with his sister since October, I bet he's real happy to finally see some Florida-like weather. He says it's averaged 50 to 60 all winter and has been a bit grumpy about that.

Good morning everyone.

I've not been lost, you couldn't get that lucky

I've been lurking around, sitting back in the corners.

Our new appliances arrive on Thursday, so I've got to get ready for that. Today I am going to see the first plans for our new kitchen. These are from the kitchen "diva" guy. It will be interesting to see what all 3 of them come up with.

Rick is out of town for the next 2 days. He has gone to Denver, Colorado to look at a machine. He had to get up at 3 am this morning to head for the airport in Detroit. It's going to be a long and tiring 2 days for him.

Liz was home from school yesterday not feeling well too. She got to wondering by the end of the day is it was allergies that were bugging her. Has anybody every heard of snow mould allergy? That's probably what it is. When the snow melts it releases some moulds that it trapped and it causes grief for some people.

Well, the sun is shining here today. It's still cold (about 23 degreees) but I was working out in the garage with the door open, and when the sun shines inside it makes it nice and warm. I was out there without my coat on, cleaning the ice off of the old freezer and tossing out things that needed to be tossed, so when the new one comes I will be ready.

I was just wondering how the kitchen make over was going, keep up posted. I love the scent of new appliances....new cabinets.....new floors....pretty much anything new!!!

My hubby just had the grand idea of putting an apartment above our storage garage. (3 months ago when it was my idea, it wasn't as good as it is now that it's his idea ) I'm pretty sure I can benefit here though, he wants to furnish the apartment so I think I can get new appliances for my house and ours can go in the apartment!!!

Yup, isn't it funny how when they "suddenly" think of something, it's the greatest idea there ever was, even if you said the same thing yesterday

I got my first quote and design this afternoon for the new kitchen. I'm not sure whether I like either one of them Well, the design is not too bad but I'm still not sure.

I'll wait for the other two before I pass judgement on this one I think.
