Hello Miss Cally

It's Survivor night :) I have Misty and Courtney in our office pool at work, but I don't think I'll get too far with them.

I have not done my walking yet. I think packing up my whole apartment and box lifting will suffice for today, lol. Oh... but I will be doing some walking today. I have to drop off my car for service and then I'll need to walk to my other errands. The combo should be good.

Hmm... there's a black box on my tv screen. Odd.

Here's another one for you:

MARRIAGE SEMINAR

While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication,
Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor,
"It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes."
He addressed the man,
"Can you name your wife's favorite flower?"
Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, "It's Pillsbury, isn't it?
Very funny :rotfl:

In the waiting room was the kindergarten teacher that both of my kids had. She is retired now but she is such a nice lady. She was so wonderful with all of the kids, just a sweetheart. So I had somebody to sit and remember with for 20 minutes or so. Nice to see her again. :goodvibes
wow how cool!! I really liked Dante's kindergarden teacher.... as for DeVaughn's, I don't really know her that well

If you want to quote someone just click on the "quote button" on the bottom of their post..

If you want to quote different parts of their post or quote a different person in the same post.. you use [ QUOTE= put their name here ] copy and paste what you are quoting ... and then close it with [ / QUOTE ]

make sure when you are using the quote and brackets there are no spaces in it...

Does that make sense? :teeth:

now that will be $5 :rotfl:

haha jk... I love helping out any way I can... Don't feel like a bone head, I had to ask the same questions too :lmao: I'm glad to pass the info on :goodvibes

Umm... my hair went short! Hmm... This could be interesting.

I got a call from a lady at the American Heart Assoc. about an internship and I also have an interview now with the other place (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) on Tuesday. :cool1: Wish I was having that kind of luck with jobs too.

:Pinkbounc Happy countdowns to the countdown people! :cheer2: My countdown is under a month for the ESPN the Weekend trip. I love sports! :thumbsup2

:woohoo: Everbody do the "Woohoo! Yeah Baby!" circle dance! :woohoo:

WHY GOD MADE MOMS
Answers given by elementary school age children to the following questions:

1. Why did God make mothers?
  • She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
  • Mostly to clean the house.
  • To help us out of there when we were getting born.
2. How did God make mothers?
  • He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
  • Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
  • God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.
3. What ingredients are mothers made of?
  • God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
  • They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string, I think.
4. Why did God give you your mother and not some other Mom?
  • We're related.
  • God knew she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me.
5. What kind of little girl was your Mom?
  • My Mom has always been my Mom and none of that other stuff.
  • I don't know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy.
  • They say she used to be nice.
6. What did Mom need to know about dad before she married him?
  • His last name.
  • She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer?
  • Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores?
7. Why did your Mom marry your dad?
  • My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my Mom eats a lot.
  • She got too old to do anything else with him.
  • My grandma says that mom didn't have her thinking cap on.
8. Who's the boss at your house?
  • Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball.
  • Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
  • I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.
9. What's the difference between moms and dads?
  • Moms work at work & work at home, & dads just go to work at work.
  • Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
  • Dads are taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.
  • Moms have magic, they make you feel better without medicine.
10. What does your Mom do in her spare time?
  • Mothers don't do spare time.
  • To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.
11. What would it take to make your Mom perfect?
  • On the inside she's already perfect. Outside, I think some kind of plastic surgery.
  • Diet. You know, her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue.
12. If you could change one thing about your Mom, what would it be?
  • She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that.
  • I'd make my Mom smarter. Then she would know it was my sister who did it and not me.
  • I would like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on her back.

ZJO Threadkillers!

No hope of catching up....I'm thinking of you, though! It's been CRAZY, busy here. Aside from work - I'm cantoring at church on Saturday, so all my free time is spent either singing - or I've recently taken up Yoga as my exercise routine! I'm VERY uncoordinated, so it's not pretty.

Anyway, watching Survivor and it's a commercial....gotta run!

Hugs & kisses! A
