Hi All :flower3:

Just a quick note....sorry I've been really busy, tonight I booked DH and my Alaska cruise!!!! We are going in May (change of date due to good $$).

Gotta go to work tomorrow, so I need to get nitey nite.....Chat more later :hyper2:

How exciting that you've booked that Alaskan cruise.

I hope your husband really really really enjoys it ;)

Then you can talk him into the Threadkillers cruise :teeth:

What cruise line are you going to Alaska on?

Yes it is kinda busy but once you start manuvering through it is great and there is so much info and many articles - I have been trying to follow the excercise program and the goals are so small to start with that is makes it very easy to stay focused.....

For you and Kim - I did find a great site for Nutritional Info that goes really well with this site here is the link for it
http://www.calorieking.com/foods/

It has the nutritional info on A LOT of food including Fast Food.....

Oh cool...that's just what I needed! Thanks!

On Sunday we got there, checked in, watched the rest of the Steelers/Colts game, went to WWoS to get something to eat and watch the Panthers/Bears game. We left there after halftime (it was packed) and went to MK. We had a Jungle Cruise, a BTMRR ride, watched Wishes from behind the castle (an interesting vantage point), then we stayed for EMH and rode AstroOrbiter and Space Mountain. MK was pretty busy. On our way out that evening, we ran into 4 lost soccer moms so we took them back to their hotel because we were worried they might never make it otherwise, lol.

Yesterday we checked out and went to DtD for lunch. We went to Cap'n Jacks and were pretty impressed. Neither of us had been before and it wasn't crowded at all. After that we picked up a White Chocolate Mocha at Ghiradelli and headed to MGM. We saw Dainty Debbie as soon as we arrived and found out the Streetmosphere schedule for the day. We picked up a FP for RnRC and we rode ToT. We watched several of the skits. TZM was picked to be the Bachelor in the Hollywood Matchmaker Game. He really made a good show of it and it was really funny. We ended up the evening with dinner at the Brown Derby. It was fantastic.

Oh sounds very fun! :cool1: And that was very nice of you two to show the moms back to their hotel... :)

Woohooo Congratulations!!! :cool1: Alaska is very beautiful!!! Never been on an Alaskan cruise before but it sounds wonderful!!! :flower:

I have been talking to my hubby about our upcoming trip and we started talking about trying different things for vacation and "cruise" came up... .. He said that we should go on a cruise in 2007 :cool1: ..woohoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

But then .. :worried: We wouldn't be able to do the Jan 07 cruise because it's too close to our 06 trip to WDW and the finances will not work.. It would be much better for us to go around July or August :headache:

so I guess that just confirms it ..... No TK cruise for me.. :sad1:

Soooooooooooooooo, When's the next TK cruise? :rotfl2:

Dante is doing very well but then he likes to read.... My lil one has just started the program. It's so cute to listen to him read... :goodvibes Kelly should be right about 20 points right now. They didn't start until the 2nd quarter. How old is DeVaughn? :confused3 It seems so early to start him. They don't start AR at Kelly's school until the 3rd quarter (normally) of 2nd grade, but last year I got them to start it in 1st grade, and this year her teacher started a quarter earlier. :teeth:

I don't remember you telling us about the ticket :confused3 But I'm very bad with remembering...I have a short term memory.. Right after I got a new license, after my BD, I got my FIRST ever ticket. :headache: In the City that my husband works for. Made no difference.

I'm glad it's easy...as long as you take it and pass... ;) or..at least take it... :teeth:
I completed the course the other night! :teeth: I guess I passed, but it doesn't matter anyway.

Great Star Wars pic of the boys! Were you really there for SW weekend?! :worship:

Kiminy You Caught Me!~right before I was headed off~

I was over on the photography board checking out some freelance websites and a photo contest opportunity --- anywhooo ---

I have a questions for you...well, Kelly really...we have many many books, Ann of Green Gable, Black Beauty, Captain Underpants, etc...what kind of books do you need for your DD and may I offer you some?

No pressure to answer, you can check with Kelly tomorrow on it...I've already separated a small box full if you want them-she could even use them on loan if you don't have room to keep this stuff, and send them back as she's finished with em. We could even go a step further and send her a new package everytime she sends some back to us. Brittany is an avid reader and I could keep your DD reading for the next 6 years without buying one book.

~TTFN my friend and Goodnight My Threadkillers~

Ok, that makes sense. Kelly and her school does the Book It simultaneously with the AR program. (I am SOOO sick of Pizza Butt - we call it) BUT, it's reading. ::yes::

Is DeVaughn really reading, in Kindergarten?! That's Fantastic!!! :cool1: What grade is Dante in, and how's he doing with AR?

Good early morning all :flower3: Getting ready to head to work :cool1: :cool1: .

Kim and Cally the link I use is the www.calorieking.com, they were running a special if you put NEWYEAR in the promotion box it was only $29. a year (I think), of course I found this out after paying the $39.....but still less than weight watchers and I like that they break down what you should be eating, not just points or calories... ::yes::

Robin we plan to cruise on the Norweigan Sun (sp?). It's supposed to be a nice ship. We booked a stateroom with a balcony!!!

Will try to post more tomorrow. Gotta get going.

Chat later

Yep, he's reading... I actually thought he was behind because Dante was way more advanced then DeVaughn when he was his age. Now I think Dante is just a genious.. LOL

Dante is doing very well....they started AR in October and he has 29.2 points out of 31.5 (93%)

Dante is still in the gifted program and he says it's much harder this year... I guess it gets harder and harder the older they get. He's in 3rd grade. And he is on the Honor Roll 1st and 2nd quarter.

I'm thinking the reason why Dante is more advanced then DeVaughn is because the school Dante went to when he was in Kindergarden (DOD school) they did start him in the AR program that early... they had us parents make sure that we read to him every night and they were tested the very next day and given the points... (sometimes I felt like it was MY homework)

I use to read to him after school, before bed, and again in the morning before school... and he would always get 100's on his test the next day... I think starting the program that early was very good and is what helped Dante a lot with his reading abilities....As for DeVaughn... he's not being tested.. just required to read (or us read to him) ten books a month.

I hope DeVaughn turns out like Dante and enjoys reading....

So Kelly is in 1st grade or 2nd?

Good Morning all,

Boy its raining pretty hard!... :umbrella: BUT its nice and warm! :goodvibes

The only problem is ...Einstein does not like the rain...Soo he wont "go" outside and made two:confused: mistakes this morning.... :worried: ...Hope this doesnt mess him up...he is doing sooo well... :dog:

I cant wait for the cruise...Cally You have Got to work on Rodger...The cruise wont be the same without you...
Wish you were going too Susan...AND kim..You too(How is the hand today? ...by the way  )...we will be missing major TKer posters, if you all dont make it....That goes for you to BP where ever you are???? pirate:
TKB,(and anyone else),
You also...when else do you have a op. to meet all us nice folk?....except maybe the NF meet...I cant wait for that either!....I was thinking a picnic at the NFs park????, but that may make it hard if the weather is bad  ..Ill look into places to meet...there...Robin, maybe you know..will I have trouble bringing the pup across the boarder. I thought about taking him...and camping there somewhere for the night.(I may not anyway...we will see).Anyway..we need a date...I suggested the weekend of the 16th or the last weekend(30th)of June...How does either of them sound?...AND who thinks they may make it?....Just to get nos. so I know what Im looking for as a meeting place...???

Robin,
Im so glad you are going on the 07 cruise for sure....I live seeing all the same count down clocks...its much more fun waiting when you have others to wait with you for the SAME trip! :hyper:
I do have plans to make tshirts for the cruise...I have a couple of ideas.:scratchin..but would love more...and seeing you all will be wearing them too...Id love to get input...such as colors...and designs.Im thinking of using the polo type shirts with the collar and three buttons in the front. I think they are more flattering, but if you all would like to stick to the reg. Ts..Thats fine too..or I could do either for whom ever..(Im easy :teeth: )...Im not sure if I should put the name tags on them or not :confused3 ..by now we all know who each other is...but we could if you all like the tags ( It also might make it easier for the Dspouses to know whos who.)
So come on cruisers...:magnify:and potential cruisers.....I need input here....Give up thoses opinions :listen: ...and ideas :3dglasses

Ann,
Glad you and DH are enjoying your jobs....How is your little Hollydog taking it all?....Einstein, will have a new friend to play with soon....My Dsis is getting a bision freis(sp?) on Sat. A male, about the same age....This should work out well, because they will take Einstein when I go on trips and I can take theirs(HE who has no name yet :rotfl: )when they go...So I dont have to worry about a kennel..

Hello everyone else I missed:wave:Hope you all have a great day!...
