Cally I bet your gonna have trouble sleeping the next couple of nights!!

ughh...you're right!!!! It's 3:51 am... I was in a nice sleep... but something keeps waking me up..

First I hear a beep beep beep... that happens whenever someone opens my door .. It's my alarm system.. but lately it's been acting up! The sensors are off track so every now and then when the heater kicks on or the wind blows it will go off... That was at 1am

after checking the doors and making sure they are all still locked... I go back to sleep

Then at 3am I hear a crashing sound!!! OMG What was it?!?!?! So I creep into the livingroom and see that two picture frames have fallin off the cabinet UGHHHH

Ok, is someone trying to tell me something?!??!?! If so go away!! I'm scared now!

It's almost 4am now .. I sure cant wait for the sun to come up

Morning Cally, sorry you had trouble sleeping last night.

My cat has a tendency to wake me up in the middle of the night. She wants to go outside but it's too cold and she DOESN'T want to go outside

When she wakes me up, I grab her and throw her out anyways. Well, she's getting smart. she wakes me up and then goes and hides under the sofa, so I can't throw her out. I usually haul her out of there anyways and out she goes.

The other night I was trying to grab her to get her out (in the dark) and I scraped my hand against the bottom of the old couch. I ended up with a wood sliver underneath my fingernail. Yeouch, that hurt and it bled and now under my nail is turning red/purple/black, all lovely shades of different colours.

Nurse Alex was not at home to check it out for me. It will be okay but I will just have to wait for it to grow out.

Kim was just concerned about an infection since she has past experience with such a thing

The thing is that other than the inital hurt, it really didn't hurt much at all.

I felt a few little tiny twinges yesterday but nothing to really say ouch about.

Of course I whacked it against a few things and then I noticed but since it is on the top of the finger it really doesn't come into too much contact with other stuff.

TN, Crusin & Cally - thank you for the well wishes - I think I have the Holiday Blues- I have been battling depression/anxiety since 1992 - sometimes hit harder than others - and today is not a day to really go into it - someday I will gladly tell you what brought it on.......On to better things -

So is anyone as excited as I am about opening thier SS present today??? I can hardly contain myself - I just may have to go and clean my house to keep myself busy.....And the clock chimes on
