Only three more weeks and Brittany (DD), my Mom and Britt's best friend Stef will be on our way back to Florida!

I'll be hittin the Disney store tomorrow or Sunday for my SS and I need about a dozen items to add to my swap box for our crusie.

My Christmas Cruising group decided to do a swap our first night on board. My friend Nan got us 25 DCL lunchboxes and sent them to me and then each participant is mailing me what they want put in the boxes. Mom and I are driving so we can haul the load down without worrying about flying with it.

BP, Chicken soup of course. The broth tastes extra good when the thraot is sore.

We had a blast of snow today, big fat flakes that lasted about 20 minutes and now they're gone. Good thing tho cause my kids have a concert to drive to tonight and I hate to have to worry about them driving in the snow.

Britt's at the doctor's now getting her working papers signed and having her cough checked...school nurse's orders.

Betsy, they look proud of their catch. Brittany has gone Vegan on me and has done very well with avoiding meat. She's got animal cruelty issues on the brain. John has been buying special sesame seed burgers and cheesy stuff for her to suppliment her diet, he even got her multi vitamins since she's not getting her protein and iron thru her food.

Robin, didja get your cruise issue settled yet?

I tried to book magical express for Stefanie (DDsBF) and they won't take her cause she's traveling alone and under 18 (she's 17.)

Susan/TN, looks like we'll be heading out crazy early on Friday morning to pick Stef up at MCO at 9:40 am. We're doing dinner right? Is Ann and Tom gonna come over too?

You must have sent quite a bit.... if some stopped at BPs......because, I have about 3-4 inches or more....and its still snowing pretty hard!....

I use to think I could do that because I love veggies so much.....but the trouble is I really like steak alot and lamb ....and pork .....nope dont think I could ever do it!...she doesnt eat fish either right?.....now I could give up the fish ....Just dont take away my shellfish

I was told emphatically that someone would call me sometime this afternoon

In my opinion this afternoon is almost over and it is the weekend, so who knows when they would get back to it?

Maybe I should just call them and make sure that everything gets down properly today. I hate to be a pest though but I don't want to sit around all weekend wondering about my booking

I did call DCL myself and ended up talking to the person who was supposed to call me.

She said that it is all taken care of and everything is back where it belongs. It was just a computer glitch

She asked if there was something else she could help me with today. I said, "No, unless you can get me into the Walter Disney Suite"

She laughed and said "that would be a nice thing wouldn't it, a category one!"

So I guess that I won't be getting that good of an upgrade I don't really care too much, just as long as I know that I have a cabin somewhere on that ship

Liz went to Toronto today on a trip with the nurses from the college. The weather is not all that great, lots of snowsqualls and stuff. I hope they make it back with no trouble.

Heard on the news that there was already one bus crash on the major highway she will be taking. It was a teenage hockey team traveling for a tournament. One in serious condition and 11 other injuries It is on the way home side of the highway and the highway is closed.

I hope her bus driver is careful and knows that the highway is closed so they can take a detour and not get stuck there.

She's supposed to call me when she gets back to town, so I can go and pick her up. She wasn't sure when they would be back either.

I guess I will just have to trust that she will make it back safely.

Nope, she never really liked fish anyway. It's the burgers I think she misses the most but she gets those veggie style and says the sunflower seed ones are pretty good. She tried regular veggie burgers first and said they tasted fine but smelled bad.

Robin, I know how you feel lady. Brittany has been driving all day today by herself and my heart skips every time she leaves the house. She drove to school, then home, then the doctors, and home again, then off to pick up my nephew and two other girls for the concert tonight. My son is driving them into Philly. I trust my kids, it's all those idiots on the road that I'm afraid of. Part of my teaching them to drive was to keep an eye out for them, defensive driving technique ya know...

Sorry I'm so late today....I used my BDay present (Aug) from my Husband today it was a gift certificate at a spa, where I did a Baltic Mud wrap and massage!! It was wonderful!! And now my skin is detoxed!!
