Scanning the boards all night and search has been down. Anyway, not for me, but for my cousin, going in early June (like us!) but she has 3 kids. She can't seem to find the lowest priced resort for 2 A, 3 K. She says the All Stars are 4 max, and I was finding the mods at 4 max also. Is she doomed to getting 2 rooms at a value or mod? She's an RN, so I told her about the Swan/Dolphin, but I think that'll be higher priced even with the discount.

Call me clueless. I haven't been in over 3 years.

But, we're going in June!

Any help appreciated!

Port Orleans is supposed to sleep 5 in some rooms, I searched Disney's site and it came back with Fort Wilderness Cabins

Okay guys, now I'm starting to sing AND make up songs, Better not leave me unattended here much longer.

Since Brer_Papa is not around I thought I would find one of his old stories to read........

No yodeling accident....workplace accident..

So, return to work on thursday 4/1 after quarterly review...walking tall & smelling good...

Snubbed again by the watercooler clique......who were unusually quiet and somber....my guess is their review sucked...

so...i high-fived myself in front of them....went to my office...Lisa, my assistant, popped her head in to say we were the buzz of the place...went back to her adjoining office...

so...i look at my schedule....all clear...all caught up....a potential for a quiet day....

well...now is a good time...so...i pull my twister game from my bottom drawer..spread the plastic sheet out...and start a practice drill in case twister makes a comeback...

i was doing well until i did a right foot blue...left foot green left hand yellow and lost my balance...

THUD!

I kissed the plastic! OUCH OUCH OUCH! uh oh...sharp pain..sharp pain...

i jump up and say "yikes"...i see a blue "pick up stick"...from the pile in my jacket pocket...had gone through my shirt...and my white shirt was turning red!

I unbutton a button and peek...uh oh...i had stabbed myself right through my.....hmmm....family board...rhymes with ripple...

by now, the blood is spreading across my shirt...and dripping off the end of my pick me up stick...

Ill post just to let you know you are NOT alone.....

I had a great lunch...the same thing I get every Thurs. Chicken salad....
Took back a couple of things....bought a couple things....Nothing all that special....

We are expecting to get your weather tomorrow...It is suppose to start out at 50..(thats what is was today ) and drop thoughout the day to around 20...along with rain and ALOT of 50-60 wind gusts...Hope the house holds

So....i run to the First Aid Cabinet lisa had installed a few years back....EMPTY!

memories of other mishaps flooded my melon....all i could think of now was..."COLD COMPRESS"...

well...I run into Lisa's office and start grabbing fistfuls of tissue.....i was surprised she wasn't surprised as she sat there shaking her head....

anyway..."COLD COMPRESS!"....so...with tissues galore...i run to the water cooler...flushing the snobs like they were quail in a cornfield and I was the beagle...except for old Sven...

aaaah...old Sven....a Swedish geezer who, I think, has no office as he is always at the watercooler...

and i do what i always do in the presence of old Sven...i stand and stare at him...dumstruck and transfixed...

you see...Sven...has a moustache...a white bushy moustache...BUT...he also has 2 bouquets of black nose hair...which fluctuates like wheat in a high wind when he talks....and he was talking...

"yo...( not you...he says yo)...Yo bleed yaw?"

"Yo bleed yaw?"

Yaw...i bleed...on my shirt...down the pick me up stick......onto his shsoes....and my....hmmm..."ripple"...was throbbing...but tranfixed was what I was...

"yo bleed yaw?"

Thankfully, Lisa broke the spell when she brought me my shoes and my car keys..and told me to haul butt to the ER...

Part 3 and part 4 of the ripple ring saga

Well anyways...I head to the ER....only making one stop on the way...Lisa called my cel to say the white socks i returned didn't match...she knows my laundry bad habits i guess...

so...i get to the ER...and fixed me up....they had to shave my...family board...rhymes with chest....and put on a huge bandage...about 10 inch by 10 inch...

I asked for a sling...they said i was alright enough to use my arm...but i said i wanted to cover up my bloody shirt....so they gave me one...

well... bloody and slinged.. i get back to the office where i was snubbed by the watercooler clique..still clucking sympathies to Sven...so called Lisa with my cel

she met me in front of the water cooler and we high-fived in front of them again..

put my twister game away...and decided to call it a day... and headed home..

Well...i get home...go through the door...bloodied and slinged and a jewelry store bag in my good hand....(my one stop on the way to the ER)

PrincessAriel sits there shaking her head in much the same way as Lisa...

As I'm taking my sling and bloody shirt off..curiosity gets the best of her and she peeks in the jewelry bag....all she sees is the one shiny, brand new...hmmm.....family board..."Ripple-ring..."

Wait til she sees the other one!

the kind nurse who put it through my....hmmm..."ripple"...told me it looks great....even though it doesn't go this way "---"

because of the way the pick me up stick stabbed me...it goes this "\" way....

My day wasn't as painful as yours but, I did get some somewhat saddening news (another thread).

Care to explain why you stopped and bought a "ripple" ring?!?!

Well...as i was driving to the ER....every time i shifted gears......the other end of the pick me up stick kept stabbing me...and stabbed me a good one when Lisa called my cel.

anyways...all that poking made me say "ouch"...and gave me the thought that "hey...the piercing is done...why waste it?"...

anyways...i see a Jewelry store...jump out (poked again)...rush in...yell "Ripple-ring to go!"

Lady tosses me a cardboard thing saying "Ripple Ring" that held 2 "ripple-hoops"

I toss her some cash....(poked again)...get in the car...(poked again)
and head for the ER...

Gosh that was such a funny story. I laughed so hard when he posted that.

My eyes are getting better now, I can look at the computer screen without the flicker

I got a good report from the eye doctor. Everything looks fine. In 2002 I had a small hemorraghe in my left eye, out of nowhere, no idea what caused it. I now have a permanent dark spot in the upper left part of my vision, it is in the shape of a perfect daisy petal or tear drop. It doesn't bother me and I hardly even notice it anymore. The doctor says that it looks good, no further bleeding.

Thanks Cally, I told her to ask Dreams about this. So far, she was told POR would hold 5, but not CBR, where we're staying. She'd really like CBR tho. She was thinking of booking for 4, and adding one of her kids to our existing 'Gathering' ressie. We have the room, but she'd have to pay the cost for another person & pass. Does this sound right?
