Hi All :yay:

Welcome back SC. :wave2:

Sorry to hear about the cold and snow some of you have. :cold: It's a little chilly here right now, but the sun is out and the sky is blue and it should get up to high 60's low 70's. It's been a very nice winter (knockin' on wood)!! :sunny:

Chat with you all later :grouphug:

PS Cally, we watched Lord of Wars with Nicholas Cage....a little to bloody without a happy ending for me....

Whew....I thought you were going to say you used to do those kinds of things to the kids :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

:scared1: :rotfl2:

S.C. I guess that you'd be about 2 hours away from me then.

Ann congratulations on the granddaughter to be. I know you'll enjoy having a little girl after the two grandsons.

Cally, when those two cook then tend to make "fancy" stuff. They like to try out new recipes and things. I'm more of the good old plain cooking type myself. :p I think this is mainly a way for dad to strengthen the bond with his daughter that he neglected too much when she was a little girl. I think he thought there's always tomorrow and well, time flies when you least it expect it too.

Hello TKers

Its not to bad out today...The snow we had is melting :sunny: ...but we are suppose to get more tomorrow...

We bought a treadmill Sat. and I spent the morning changing my Bed room around to fit it...
It looks pretty nice in there now :thumbsup2 ....Of course it got me to clean off my dressers and vacume where I moved them from..So that helped... :teeth:
I could have tucked it in more if I had it facing the wall, but I can watch TV and look out my patio door with it facing out...Id much rather do that, then face a wall!

Robin,
DH use to cook with my boys alot when they lived home..It was nice...I agree on time just flying by...The older I get the faster it seems to go.. :sad2:

So TZM and I have decided to train for the Half Marathon next January. It's on the day before you guys go Cruising. So who wants to do it with us? Nothing like a half marathon to prep you for a nice relaxing vacation! It'll enable you to get the most out of your Spa visits!!

:teeth: (Half Marathon link)

:wave2: Hey TKers!! Here is something a friend emailed to me, hope you like it.:

Today is International Very Good Looking, Damn Smart Woman's Day, so please send this message to someone you think fits this description. Please do not send it back to me as I have already received it from a Very Good Looking, Damn Smart Woman! And remember this motto to live by: Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

"You don't stop laughing when you get old, you get old when you stop laughing"

I've been swamped as usual on Mondays. I do payroll at a manufacturing plant here in KY, one of my various duties  . What does everyone else here do?

I hope everyone had a great Monday!!

I have thought about it but I don't know if I could actually do it. I suppose I could if I really wanted to start training but I haven't a clue where to even begin. :confused3

I still like to think of myself as a 75% stay at home mother but we do have our own custom metal machining business and I take care of all of the accounting and bookkeeping aspects of that businesss. Basically I make my own hours :thumbsup2

My backyard this afternoon.

I wonder how long it will take for waist deep snow to melt :confused3

Well, if I get the internship that I was contacted about today I'll be able to tell you exactly how to train for it! :yay:

If I could get my tushie into a routine I will consider the half-marathon :)

SW, I work in a specialty sporting goods store-by summer's end our business will be moving into the empty grocery store next door and we will be adding a skateboard park, rock climbing park and coffee shop to our retail shop. It's gonna be huge!

I'm supposed to be spending time with hubby so I'm gonna disappear again...G'night

Of course I've made snowmen and snow angels too.

Been a lot of years though since I've done that.

I'm definitely NOT a snow lover so I tend to not go out and play in the stuff ;)

ophie, you let us know what we should be doing to train and maybe we can talk a group of us into doing it :confused3 I think it would be a cool thing to do. ::yes::
