In a way I think that school would be fun now.

I think I've matured enough that I would actually enjoy the experience

I sometimes think I could/should go back to school. I could still work for another 15-20 years if I wanted to take up a new career. But then I think, nah, a new career would put a serious cramp in my vacation "lifestyle" that I am used to

Maybe I will just get a job at McDonald's.

do you think you could get free burgers if you did work at McDonalds? jk

You get a free lg. burger meal for every 4hrs you are at work........I know this because I use to work at McDonald's ... ...better then Wendys...At wendys you get zip....unless you work 8 hrs....I use to work at a wendys too.....but it all could have changed...It was a really long time ago...one of the many jobs Ive had when my children were young.....I went from serving people to serving dogs/cats...then horses.....and let me tell you the dog/cats and horses were alot more appreciative ....although I didnt have to clean up after the people the way I had to with the animals THANK GOD!

Well better go get ready...Its Thursday, so Ill be taking my DGS out to lunch today ...I have them rotate now because..there are now three of them that are old enough. I cant take three at once...So they take turns going....I take the oldest today(Mikey)...he is 6YO...next week will be Dougie..he is 5YO....and then David...he is 3 YO..They are all very good .....but alot better when they are on their own.....

Have a good lunch with the little guy. That sounds like a nice tradition to have with your grandchildren.

That is a lot of burgers.. lol

The boys are doing just fine with school... They did get invited over to a sleep over a couple of weekend's ago.. it was one of our neighbors that works with DH. They dont go to school together but they know eachother from the playing outside.. They had a great time!

At the time I worked just a 4hr day...and that was my lunch....I didnt worry about how bad that was for me then.....now I dont think I could do it either...

We always go to the same place..the best place to eat in Binghamton to me......"Cortese"..
Its Italian...They have a salad that I just love...but everything Ive had there is very good....and the service is good too...My DH really loves the pasta in marinara sauce..very garlicky....and to me you just cant have to much garlic....of course the people that you meet after lunch probably dont think that....

We have been going there every Thurs. since 1989...Started taking my DM out for lunch once a week after my DF died..and it turned into a family thing...Now its My DSis, DBIL,DM,DH,DGS, and myself...we are the regulars, but every now and then a friend or my other DSis will show too.....Its nice because we have gotten to know the owners and they always get us right in, knowing that some have to get right back to work....I usually get there first and place orders for the ones that have to be back to work...so its waiting there when they get there...Our Waiter(Andy) is the best waiter I have ever had..and now he has become a friend too...We have even gone to his daughters bat mizvah....I had never been to one befor......It was alot of fun...

That sounds very nice Betsy, to have a place to go to like your restaurant.

It makes a nice tradition. Probably now your grandchildren will do the same thing when they get old enough.

I do have it subscribed to and look for the little check mark symbol along the way to find it easier.

While I'm looking for the TKer thread, I can sneak a peek at what else is going on, on the CB board and either read interesting stuff or go back and check it out later.
