For pay, no. At school, doing lunch helper, yes! I start EARNING money again 9/6. My lunch helper duty is 1/2 over, only 2 more days.

Dang....I remember now. I have NO memory for details....sorry.

So now we have TWO Hotdog ladies on the threadkiller boards? Hmmmmm - I'd like a cheeseburger, please!

Yup Ann the ballet WAS purty. Liz has never taken ballet before and she did a really good job. She only messed up in one spot but if she hadn't of smiled you probably would never even have noticed.

I haven't forgotten about the first recital DVD, but my dancing on that one was pretty sad

This is why I *ahem* think I should be first - sorry folks - I was supposed to see the first one. Not trying to be , just the facts.

If and when I get a chance to look a little closer I have some pictures taken at home tonight before the recital.

Me with make up on......... a very very rare sight indeed.

Kim - I think you should get the DVD first.....then we'll send it to whoever is (geographically) closest to you - and further and further til it reaches Florida....then tinknutt and I will KEEP it! Nah, we'll send it back. (btw, check your PMs).

Robin - looking forward to seeing it, but willing to wait til it meanders it's way down here!

Well, DH has turned off all the lights and he's making those "let's go to bed" noises - so.....I'm gonna get some snuggle time!

Sorry Ann. Of all the meals I've helped with over the years, I've never gotten stuck with cheeseburgers, thankfully, as one Dad was telling me just today how awful that duty was.

Monday is cheese quesadillas, etc., and Tues is PBJ sandwiches & chicken noodle soup, etc. Clean-up is the worst part. Love seeing all the kids tho.

A better picture of the actual colour of her ballet outfit since the others look washed out. This thing actually hurt your eyes when you looked at it in the sun, looked very pretty onstage though.

A picture of me. Someone I know was taking pictures at the actual rehearsal and also during the recital and she is supposed to email some to me. If I get any that are good I will post them.

Okay what's so funny is...... that in the song we danced to tonight the phrase ooo, la, la and then a very slow mmmmmmmmmmmmm, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm was in there and we had to say that part

It is just funny that you and Ann and myself also all used that same phrase tonight.

Yes I danced in that but I forgot to put the choker on that had a lovely red flower on it too. You will see that when the video is released

We have been teasing her for weeks about her Tinkerbell tutu

She says it is not like Tinkerbell because of the flowers and the beads on it

The colour is perfect for Tink though.

It is supposed to be available mid September but we will have to wait and see when they actually get it finished.

I think you guys should watch some of the other dances on there too if you are interested. There is some pretty good stuff on there when you keep in mind that these kids learned all of this in just 8 weeks of classes.
