These are from my WDW trip, alone with my friend Donna. We stayed at the Grand Floridian thanks to her Wonderful Dad!

Dress rehearsal went fine.

Us dedicated "oldtimers" even found a quiet spot to practice on our own afterwards

I'm home inbetween rehearsal and performance which starts at 7.

I've still got to hem my capris and Liz wants to do my hair and put make up on me I am definitely a no makeup kind of gal

Well, got to run.

I'm going to get a DVD of this performance and if it turns out okay, I will send it out to anyone who is interested in having a look I probably won't get it for a couple of weeks though.

I like to go look more then buy anyway....Ill see things and say..."OH, thats a good idea, but I could do that...and talk myself right out of buying it.......even though I know I will probably NEVER make it....

I'm a shopper not a buyer---we eat and walk and eat and sit and eat and laugh...seeing my pattern?

We like the comedy of the shows, the human chess, the music, we even get to see kaber tossing and a kilt contest this time

John usually goes to the winery up front on the way out, there's a wine tasting bar in the back room. I meander thru the shop while he chooses his wine.

If I find something I really want, and could use, that I couldn't get anywhere else, I might buy it.

Betsy - Been raining on and off, but still have power......for now
I want to get another hottub. DH and I loved our last one, we left it with our old house since it just fit on the porch. We only want a two lounger this time. It's where we discussed our day and enjoyed each others company

TWENTY Days! Oooh La La! I'm SO excited! We're gonna have a great time. I hope and pray there are no hurricanes headed to Orlando during that time....that would suck!

TW - did you get the payroll done? If you want pics of the sister's time in WDW, Susan will have to take them...I don't own a digital camera. Heck, I didn't take pictures the last time I went to Rome even....I know, I know, it's evil, but I will hold and carry - carry and hold the camera and never lift it for a picture!

Cally - don't fret....Monday will come soon enough!

Kim - did you start working yet?

Betsy - what no hot tub that has a margarita machine and a lava lamp? Bummer.... I'm very excite for you & TW meeting!

I always get the payroll done-it's the stress of the day and making things perfect take alotta time and in no way can ever be done before that last day...

The job isn't even the hard part, it's the lack of assistance I get from the HR department while doing it...

:Im off my soapbox:

I Have to force the camera into other peoples hands and then explain to them why they have it...:you have to take a picture of me silly:...

so after they get the dumbfounded look off their face they look up and say ... : how do you work it?: :what do I do now: ... you know the phrase.

I consciously take pictures of things that catch my eye. I practice at the parks and after each vacation I go thru the pictures and say...:next time I'll remember to take a picture of .... :insert regret of no photo of activity here: ...

Exactly. If that were the case, it'd be an immediate conference I'm sure.

He came home yesterday afternoon and before I could say anything to him he goes "Mama, I was a good boy today" ... so I guess he does understand and was paying attention when we had our talk.

It sounds like he may have also received some POSITIVE reinforcement from his teacher! That's good to hear!

How did tonight go?

Hi everyone.

Another recital done and over with

I'm not sure how well I did because it is just a big ol blur

I'm going to have to wait for it to come out on video to see if it was any good or not

I will only have one copy, so it will have to be sent on a tour of the country, just like Flat Stanley did

So when I get it and make sure that it is fit for human consumption I will start sending it out. It might take awhile to get to everyone, so you will have to be patient and wait for your turn.

I haven't forgotten about the first recital DVD, but my dancing on that one was pretty sad

I'm hoping for a better result from this one.

For pay, no. At school, doing lunch helper, yes! I start EARNING money again 9/6. My lunch helper duty is 1/2 over, only 2 more days.

Oh Robin, that reminds me.....I was mistaken, and hot dog day was today. Soooooo, in honor of our very own "Hot Dog Lady" TKer, I wore (Kelly's!) Canada t-shirt today!!!! (Robin knows I'm laughing for 2 reasons - the hot dog lady thing AND the fact that Kelly & I switched the t-shirt gifts that Robin gave us at our meet in MI! It was tooo funny! - But worked out great!)
